European Cargo Set (ECS) - PROJECT LEADER NEEDED!

Falls looks almost like Falns and Faccs like Fcs. Falns and Fcs could be removed from the sheet now. Or Purno wants them all
We could include two types of sliding-wall waggons for goods; Habis (very long 4-axle) & Hbis (very short 2-axle). Pictures: http://mercurio.iet.unipi.it/pix/de/car ... H/pix.html (only where the picture is described with those waggons)
And telescope roof(?) and tarpaulin (drawn by MB) waggons for steel and goods; Shimms and Sahimms:
http://mercurio.iet.unipi.it/pix/de/car ... S/pix.html (only where the picture is described with those waggons)
http://www.tt-modelleisenbahn.de/ttbilder/sahimms.jpg
EDIT: oh, there already is a tarpaulin Shimns

1.
Here are some new suggestions:
Silo Car from NS, Netherlands

Sclmmnps with Structon crane, Netherlands

Takkls from VAM Compost, Netherlands

Fccpps from RailPro, Netherlands

2.
The Spreadsheet is really getting a mess because of all 'typenumbers' like:
3.
I've updated the spreadsheet.

Sclmmnps with Structon crane, Netherlands

2.

Maybe we should use some easier system. Because I think it gets a bit complicated with things like these. (BTW: That quote is just for example)someone wrote:Falls looks almost like Falns and Faccs like Fcs.

Yes, we could really use easier thingies than "Sclmmnps" or so
Two possiblities:
1. we say medium 6-axle flatbed waggon, for example
2. we look up the meanings of the letters of the UIC, like here (german only) http://home.wtal.de/gueterwagen/gatt-zde.htm ... so it's impossbile to say "I draw a medium flatbed waggon", and somebody says "this waggon has four instead of six axles" or "this car has an max. freight weight of 60 tons" and somebody says "no, it's 75 tons" ... you know what I mean?

But maybe I've another suggestion. We number all cars in the list. So we can say: "Maybe we can add this carriage (link, name, etc), it looks like car #8. BTW: I think we can remove #5 because it's the same as #9."
Is that an idea?

Andother suggestion:
Talls: a Falls rebuilt to trasport grain, due to a new different name it should be a separate car, not a refit option,
Fall/Wa just a different looking Falls, but we could use more vehicles...

We have some slidingwall and freezer freightcars, which are part of the CSDcargosetW developed by Petr Vanek, but yet I don't have his permission to use them in the europeancargosetW, so until this is solved, you should not waste time with drawing these...

We should do so, but then we had it like now, but only with separate columns for UIC, description and no. of axles.Hyronymus wrote:Why don't you guys + girl make a colum for the UIC-coded name, a colum for the general description and a colum for the amount of axles. That makes it easier to read.
Btw, the UIC-coding contains more than the # of axles, like max. speed, max. weight, and many more things.
@Purno, do you mean this coding method for the veh-ID? Then it isn't good/possible.
1. we should start coding at a higher number, like 80h, otherwise waggons are show before engines in the list.
2. the first vehilces after this number should be old and small waggons.
3. then the newer, and newer waggons, and so on.
4. liveries are random things, not own veh-IDs I like the parameters that Colonel suggested.
5. we should save IDs, if this set should be compatible to the passet and other sets (containing the engines).
No no no, absolutely not. Then #-number and the ID are different things.Saskia wrote:@Purno, do you mean this coding method for the veh-ID? Then it isn't good/possible.
The #-number is just for that we can easily say what car we mean. Like: "I mean car #5a". IDs come later.
I know nothing about how IDs work. This comes later, when we've a complete list of cargo carriages we want to include.Saskia wrote:1. we should start coding at a higher number, like 80h, otherwise waggons are show before engines in the list.

Faccs/Sas red finished
aditional info for my cars:
-------axles - liverty - country - weight - capacity - transports
Eas - 4 - CD - Czech rep. - xxx - xxx - coal, wood, (iron ore)
Faccs - 4 - CD - Czech rep. - 22 tons - 47tons - cement
hell, most czech wagons are designed to transport cement (the Uacs - Raj can transport only cement), but until cement is enabled by the patch, which won't be any soon, we will have to use the Uacs for goods and I am sure that we could use the Faccs for coal, ore, grain and goods (strange, but makes sense).

Additions to the table:
Shimmns has 4 axles
Sahimmns has 6 axles
Other things:
- Hm, the waggons mostly don't come from a specific country. Sclmmnps is available in most Euro countries.
- If you want a country column, I suggest to write NL instead of the long word Netherlands *g* and same for other countries.
- Could you please upload the sheet on a "constant" place?

But liveries do, don't they?Saskia wrote:- Hm, the waggons mostly don't come from a specific country. Sclmmnps is available in most Euro countries.
NL = Netherlands, D = Germany, LUX = Luxembourg,Saskia wrote:- If you want a country column, I suggest to write NL instead of the long word Netherlands *g* and same for other countries.
but what is Czech Republic???
I don't have any personal website or something, but I can post it with the first post of this topic. Is that good too?Saskia wrote:- Could you please upload the sheet on a "constant" place?
