And where I can select II (IIm/IIe/IIf/G) ?

But I could use my model rail outdoor :D anyway, for the price of one engine you can buy full rolling stock for N

If you want some pics about 1:22,5:
http://www.buntbahn.de/fotos/ some really nice pics there...

thats one thing I find attactive ... the other is the very minimal space requirements
an interesting layony can be built small enough to fit into a box, complete with scenery  [/quote]

Much cheaper that way. Also easier to have complex layouts and multiple layouts. Still, there's something about having a model you can truely pick up and put your hands around...

Hehe, I have two boxes truly ancient (belonged to my dad and his brother when they were kids) Hornby and Tri-Ang* OO gauge at home.

That's assuming they haven't completely rusted through.

*Pretty much the same, except the couplings are different, the little shoes on the tracks are on opposite corners and the polarities of the motors are reversed. 2 of those can be allowed by converter tracks/wagons, the third allows you to have head-on crashes

I prefer my Fleischmann H0 track above the virtual one. I don't think I can "just look for hours" to some virtual trains...

I had some H0 (H-zero, not H-O) models. I'm still hoping to play with 1:1 "models".
I have lost my original user id for 20842 :(

as far as I know, H0 and HO is actually the same thing. H0 was the oroginal name, which got misspelled to HO. Both are in 1:87 scale

A quick reference I found...

http://www.spikesys.com/Modelrr/scales.html

HO means "half of O", but O scale was originally 0 (zero) scale. Of course, HO isn't exactly half of O, but fairly close.
