That depot is VERY nice! I like that texture of the walls a lot.athanasios wrote:New version of RoadDepots!
Now includes different sprites for Arctic Climate. CC in arctic is all around, to make some people happy!![]()
NOTE: The grf will not change the depots in Tropic Climate. This is intentional.![]()
Also fixed a typo in code of Toyland RoadDepots.
What about Tram depots? Are the addons in OpenTTD extra grf new artwork or copy-paste from TTD sprites?
The paper car looks OK as a flatcar with rolls of paper, but I think the steel should be long girders on a flatcar with vertical sidebars, like the original flatcar. The wood flatcar should also have these.Zephyris wrote:The wagons in game - see what I mean by "flat"...
Nice, but oil and water looks the same ... and goods and livestock are IMHO also too similar.Zephyris wrote:The wagons in game - see what I mean by "flat"...
Its not so much darker, than more contrast. The standard ones used slightly darker colours in the more shadowed places. Add more gradient to the shading and/or make the shading and edges a bit darker.Killer 11 wrote:try make them a bit darker as original ones are darker by a tiny bit.
I agree. I think that 2CC can easily be overused. As Ive mentioned before on other areas, I think that simplicity is often the key and something like a small line of CC or a door/sign can have just as much, if not more, impact.FooBar wrote:I also think that the roofs shouldn't be in CC. That's just too much CC for just a small wagon.
That might be the exact problem I currently have with my bus stops. The only colour used is CC. It looked acceptable in the default dark blue, but in red it's just too red.Ben_K wrote: I think that 2CC can easily be overused.
Good, though the livestock and goods are still quite similar, although better than in previous case ... perhaps having red or reddish roof for the livestock wagons?Zephyris wrote:And how's this for new wagons? (No toyland)
