The light brown one looks pretty fine to me.

Different railtypes, different colours. Every railtype and road have different colour approach. Only the greenish stone viaduct recolouring is dopped to the recycle bin, neither do I like it, thats was the first try.

Then this colour will be the final version :)
Anyway your faster girder steel bridges are completed Purno, I have added pillars for the monorail bridge.

In the image, are the explosions fireworks to celebrate the completion of the faster girder steel bridges (which are very nice) or are they the greenish stone viaduct hitting the bottom of the recycle bin? :lol:

Keep up the good work, but please make it compatible with as many sets as possible. :tongue:

Doing a great job thgergo :D

Like purno, i also ask to make it compatible with the most road sets possible, personally i use US Road set :)

And thgergo, do you think there can be a way of making this bridges set compatible with CSRailSet? Or is the CSRailSet that has to be modified to be compatible with this set?

Keep the good work :D

I will release a version without any roadset support, or maybe only one, then Ill start making supports. But if want to have support for a roadset/railset sooner, you can always help me in creating sprites for that set.

I can send you my workfile for metro rails, if you want. The metro rails is currently the first and only one of its kind, so TBH, I expect you to be willing to make support for it :wink:

I meant someone else can help me with repacing bridge sprites( Ill make good coding design so, sprites witch is neccery to replace, they will stay together. So you just need to decode, replace sprites with a picture editor, then encode it back, then send the result grf for me. Well if you have time to speed up the development...), with their road/railset to make it compatible. But anyway you can send it to me...

Thx :)

Also I got permission to include Andrex`s suspension bridge. Im in trouble becouse only one suspension bridge slot left, and there is also an extra suspension bridge drawn by Purno too. My first idea was that, the concrete bridge shares Andrex`s and Purno`s bridges, so rail, and maglev would use Andrex`s, monorail, and road would use Purno`s. Then the second slot would use Purno`s brown suspension, and the third slow would stay with Zimmlocks suspension.
But, with rethinking the problem, I have came up with another idea, probably Andrex`s bridge would use a whole slot, Zimmlocks also, and Purno`s modern suspension, then wouldn`t be free space for Purnos brown bridge. Thats why this is a hard decision. Can you help me out?

@second point;

the middle one has a road sign, so it's a road bridge. :P
You could use on of the two modern ones for third rail Monorail/maglev by default. Or make them length-dependant perhaps?

@first point;

no problem, metro rail just adds one additional 'sprite' over the other one. Updating normal rail to metro rail would be quite easy. (Probably easier than decoding and encoding the grf file).

Can bridge sets have parameters so that a player could select his choice of bridges?

Lenght dependent things are not possible yet. Ok, Andrex`s bridge will share id slot with yours...

Sure but its increases my work also :P

Anyway, while I was checking old posts, I founded this lovely monorail. Who are not able to like it? :shock: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?p=129785#129785 Too bad Marcel seems not around here in the forums.
Would be a good addition for modern monorail suspension bridges I think.

If you read down further in that thread I believe you will see that those are "Mr.Hunt's Monorails" and George was involved with them or at least they were hosted on his site. Check with George as he could probably give you more information.

I think Ill make a new topic for this called "new bridges" or something. Ill put downloads there... Im going to release the first version of my codings. Should I rename the project becouse I have made it again from scratch? If everyone agrees I will make a new topic for this. Also I will post a tracking table there (probably a big png) to discuss what bridge is in the set, just to confirm witch bridge is going to be in this set. And of course you can always give me suggestions witch bridge should be in this set.

thgergo, personally i would like to see a new topic for this set and a new name :)

While it's based in some of the work from purno it does have it's own life..

And it would be better so people don't mix the set's with questions and problems ;)

Before or while you do so, I'd like to draw your attention to possibility of adding sounds to bridges (this topic). Not that I have any sounds available for you... but it'd be great to have a bridgeset with sounds.

Yeah, make a new project of it, with a new name. Also prevents confusing between the new and the old bridge sets.
