This had been discussed a couple of times in the past, w/o result. As Eddi wrote, "larger" capacities make ships more problematic w/r to gameplay. There are just too many imponderables w/r to industry output, industry clustering, etc.
For 0.48 I´ve slightly increased capacities in NewShips, but not to "5-10 times bigger".
