Good point, Wally... Yes, it does the same in OTTD. I never use that option, so had forgotten it is even there :). Also shows that there is plenty of the room on one tile for a construction vehicle of sorts.
Many thanks to those who make OTTD and TTDP possible.

But, if someone were to fix miscmods to be a 64 bit wide field, instead of the current 32-bit limit, then the rest would follow quite easily.

Now that I have a decent reason to do this, it might actually happen. *Scurries off to issue Notice(tm) to AndersI and Andrex.*

In the capacity that jasper, in all its incarnations, is a troll and should under no circumstances be fed.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Thanks for appreciation.
Chicago Rail Authority wrote:@Skidd13 - I agree w/ OzTransLtd... Can you push the barriers closer to the edges of the tiles? Also, can you make more of a hole? Maybe look to some construction stages of building sets for ideas on depth/etc. If possible, some construction equipment might be a nice addition, too.

Can you tweak the color to be a bit more orange instead of red? The final bit would be flashing yellow construction lights on the corners of the barriers themselves...
I thought over it and decided that a road block will look better with some police cars. IMO the red barriers differ more from the lane marks. The car sprites are drawn by OZ, I just converted them to police cars.
The barriers which are nearer to the border look IMO nicer.

@OZ, hope you garant permission, that I can use your sprites again. ;)

Looks good, but I do prefer roadworks, or if you must have police cars, just one ... and not necessarily nicely parked.

It was a homage to all the hollywood productions and PC games. So I took 2... but one is fine too. A police car is from the sense of do not pass this road far better. But how are trams handeled in TTDPatch on one way roads, cause it could look wired if they drive trough a police car... ;)

You, as a player, place the road barrier, because you don't want any traffic going down that road; in that case do not lay tram tracks ...

As for how trams handle one way roads, that's something to test though ...

Knock yourself out, Skidd. And, BTW, is it my eyes, or do your barricades change from orange to red depending on the orientation?

Have you not heard about the mysterious barriers that you lot have on the otherside of the pond? I mean, come on! You lot live there!

Great stuff anyway, keep it up team :D

Nope I drew one orientation orange (Chicago Rail Authority suggested the change to orange) and one red to see the diffrence. But IMO the red ones look clearer.

Here are the results of the Trams vs One Way Roads test:

OpenTTD : Trams ignore one way roads and will quite happily run down streets against the flow of traffic or across road barriers. That means, it will be up to the player not to lay tram tracks in one way streets or use other means to direct trams correctly.

TTDPatch : The same applies as above; however one way road markings and barriers are only shown if the road construction window is open. Further trams will happily go under the north facing arrow and over the top of the south facing arrow as well as the road barrier.

If using one way roads I'd be inclined to use the following layout for one way traffic and trams. It does look rather good ...

There is very little in that save game, just what you see in the screenie and it would be OpenTTD.

The GRFs used are :

Hiroshima Trams by stevenh
Light-Rail/Tramtracks by Roland Kahlert
US Roads Set
Viaduct Bridge by Pikkabird

Check GRFCrawler to find the download sites.

EDIT: Hiroshima Trams are not in GRFCrawler; go via stevenh's signature to his website and follow the link (that is how he prefers it).

Amazing work on tunnels. My humble suggestion: The white line in entrance of tunnel a bit darker. It makes very big contrast with slope of NW tunnel. At least in tropic climate. In arctic it looks OK. (So much snow there.)
