Yes, but I do not add new graphics into the old versions, so, new version may have more graphicskrtaylor wrote:Aha. That's an excellent improvement, actually!
So the new LV has pretty much all the same vehicles in it, just with one slot each instead of 3? Otherwise, everything's there in much the same way as before?

Is there a reason the newest versions of the busses are so much smaller than the previous ones? I mean, the file size.

I haven't played a game all the way through, so I don't know.
I also had an odd issue with the Model T. It now appears as only one entry (good!) which is refittable to almost everything. But it wouldn't give me a price to refit to half of them. Is this normal?

What do you mean? I have 164 pounds here.krtaylor wrote:I also had an odd issue with the Model T. It now appears as only one entry (good!) which is refittable to almost everything. But it wouldn't give me a price to refit to half of them. Is this normal?
BTW, in my German version of TTD, Ford T shows up as Fort T. It's quite annoying... Could you please fix it?George wrote:Then I can't fix itkrtaylor wrote:I haven't played a game all the way through, so I don't know.

George, this bus is the same size as the GMC New Look, but I'll take another look.

This was posted way back in April ... Today is June 17George wrote:Because I have not uploaded the file. Do not worry, the problem is solvedDanMacK wrote:George, the C-14 is still having troubles with hills... mayhaps lowering the weight to 1.5T would help? (increase TE as well). Also, I'd say increase speed to about 35-40MPH
I just downloaded and installed 3LongBusesNAw.grf
The date on the file is April 2.
The C-14 still sticks on a hill.

When will you be uploading the fixed file so we can have a bus in 1921?
Or do we still have to use the taxi to move passengers?

Do you mean some real bus or a liverie for existing one?weirdy wrote:Hey George
I was wondering if you would like to do National Express liveries?
If not don't worry but it would be nice on the more modern busses.
If you mean a new liverie for existing bus - post the photo of the liverie
If you mean a new bus - read the rules for requesting me a new graphics
If you want me to draw some vehicle for the TTD:
1) check, that TTD supports this kind of vehicles.
2) find a good photos of it
3) find drawings of it from all the sides
4) find the characteristics of vehicle.
Feel free to ask me after that. But, remember:
1) I draw 1 vehicle about a week or two
2) I have 2.5 vehicles in the list already
3) The max list length is 5
4) TEST the vehicle after I post it and send me the bugreport
5) Developers are without queue
George, I can fix the articulated GRF (tedious, but not difficult[0]). However, due to a certain borkenness in your site, Firefox (still) displays the RARs as text instead of downloading them when the links are clicked.
I've proven that articulation can be done in 24 sprites; fixing the graphics is not interesting to me, and I will not do what I consider to be uninteresting tedium for a set that is unnecessarily difficult to download.
You're welcome to fix the sprites yourself, or you can fix your site, and I'll do the work.
[0] All it requires is possibly adjusting the offsets for the straight sprites and then recreating the bent sprites.

To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Well, could we do it such a way: I draw a set of turning boxes as templates, and code them, and I use them as templates for future?DaleStan wrote:George, I can fix the articulated GRF (tedious, but not difficult[0]).

Well, I can't understand why does the site work this way, but even if it would work ok, I think it is my task to fix the graphics. So, I hope you will code templates for me and I shall use them in the future for all the graphics.DaleStan wrote:You're welcome to fix the sprites yourself, or you can fix your site, and I'll do the work.
Could you also look at bi-articulated buses?
What is it possible to do with stations?
