You would need to install Pax dest on your own into the source, its not part of the pack. The wiki has a nice article on how to apply patches. Good luck with it!

I've just tried adding this patch to r14004 and compiling it on Mac OS X - When I execute the program, I get a black screen and nothing else until I force quit it. When I add the patch I get one error:

Code: Select all

...
patching file src/strings.cpp
patching file src/table/control_codes.h
patching file src/table/namegen.h
Hunk #1 FAILED at 1.
1 out of 87 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file src/table/namegen.h.rej
patching file src/table/sprites.h
patching file src/terraform_gui.cpp
...
It compiles okay, but won't run. Any Ideas?

Yeah. Code needs fixing. The patch obviously does not apply against the version of OpenTTD you used. If even the patching fails, the binary cannot be expected to run, even though it may compile (which by itself is also no guarantee to a bug free programme).

Ahh ...... I've got overwhelmed these days, sorry. Probably will update this pack on 9/9 or so. Stay tuned.
I may implement/fix/tweak/eat/ditch it soon (or in distant future, if at all, so don't hold your breath).
If anyone want to be the one please implement it for us all 8)

Last week, I was playing a multiplayer game with a friend of mine.
We put the 'share tracks/stations' option on.
Bought some shares of eachothers company and allowed access on that screen where you can see your own firm too.

But we were unable to connect eachothers tracks :( . Anybody knows what I should do?
That was the most fun part of the game imo. 2 networks with connections betweem em.

An option is to both start in the same company, but then you can see who's "winning"

Mind that you cannot build on a tile owned by another company.
Otherwise you're fine by just building on adjacent tiles such that the tracks connect.

Everything I say holds true for the standard IS patch alone, no idea whether this patch pack modifies that, but I think not.

I remember it used to be possible in a Mini-In, so I thought it got into this patch pack too.

Sorry for that I couldn't keep my promise
However I'm still very busy recently, therefore I can't give a definitive date for next version release ...

Hope someone capable can do another patchpack for us, and also hope these good patches would someday found their way into trunk!

I'll try do something once I have a whole weekend free or so ... but don't hold your breath

I love your pack! Thanks a lot!

But.
After playing for about ten years, the game crashed. I auto-save weekly, but even going to the earliest of my saves, the game would crash entirely when trying to load a saved game giving a 'Too many orders' error. I just started from scratch again to see what happens.
Also, it will only let me use English Language in Game Options, the regular releases let me use other languages. Could you make it able for Spanish?

Again, I love your patch, man!

I cant work this out. I just re install the game but i cant get the big maps anymore using Tib's Patch. I had the big maps before. Any ideas?

It does show the map sizes say 512x2048 but i am not getting this size map or any other size.

Never mind i fixed the problem.

This is a great set, esp. with copy&paste and the daylength patch. Thanks Tiberius!

However if I try to use RVs (busses and/or trams) each game crashes, even new, nearly "naked" games without any grfs loaded. I reinstalled the pack, tried several games (old or new ones), but the result is always the same.

- Is there any workaorund?
- Is it useful to post the crash log etc ?

Can U make those patches as .exe files 'cause SVN doesn't work...
In September 1993 near Bombay, lightning hit a train full of women. And fifty of them in the confusion them jump on tracks, where a train in the opposite direction ran over them.

A little bit of stupit death.

I'm pretty sure SVN does work. If it's not working for you, we really can't help you if you don't bother to tell us why you think it's not working.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
