The crash is fixed and I see Opel Blitz 3.6-36s Lkw which is reconfigurable for all industries but I also now see Balough Armoured Truck and Uhl Paper Truck. (I'm in Arctic Climat)George wrote:There was a bug, I hope it is fixed now.

You have to press apply button in the graphics status window. After that you have to replace all those missing trucks in you game. Unfortunately, changing the version is a painful process. I could save only 1/3 of the trucks (for example, grain, livestock, coal) but not of them. Sorry, I could not do more.wallyweb wrote:The crash is fixed and I see Opel Blitz 3.6-36s Lkw which is reconfigurable for all industries but I also now see Balough Armoured Truck and Uhl Paper Truck. Actually what I was using wasn't affectedGeorge wrote:After that you have to replace all those missing trucks in you game.

No pain = no gain ... and I bet you're enjoying the challengeGeorge wrote:Unfortunately, changing the version is a painful process. I could save only 1/3 of the trucks (for example, grain, livestock, coal) but not of them.

You're doing fine.George wrote:Sorry, I could not do more.

Oooopsie, see what happens when I post while working...George wrote:Some data is missing. Cost, running cost, weightDanMacK wrote:Here's another bus - a Flxible Clipper from 1940.

If you're raising runnign costs, go for it, I'd say up the IC-41 to about $5,000/yr, the GMC Old Look to $4,200, and the New Look to about $6,500.
Also, up the weight of the GMC "Old Look" to about 13T

Hmmmm, the Mack "C-14" needs tweaking, either with more HP or less weight. It won't make it up hills :/
George, I'd say go with what'll work best re: weight vs. HP as opposed to exact realism.

I tried to redraw LiAZ and Ikarus buses into my train scale (from 303 mm/px to 433 mm/px) that made them 75% smaller, and the Volvo 9700 and Mercedes truck into MB's train scale (from 303 mm/px to 617 mm/px) that made them 50% smaller. The result is UGLY! So, the answer is NO! The TTD is disproportional from the begining, the RVs and Ships for example. And it is impossible to fix it. It is only possible to make one class of objects proportional. But not all of them. Sorry, you have to take it as is. Even in xUSSR set we've choosed different scales for different objects.SHADOW-XIII wrote:George I know I ask about something unbelivable but I think bus templates should be changed to suit trains ... currently buses are bigger than locomotives (which is quiet uncommon)
George, the C-14 is still having troubles with hills... mayhaps lowering the weight to 1.5T would help? (increase TE as well). Also, I'd say increase speed to about 35-40MPH

Couple of revisions =>The ACF Brill looks too low in the front on the / and \ "away" views and a few small tweaks on the Flxible "Clipper" as well.
The speed on the TD-3701 should be upped to 60MPH and the Flxible "Airway" dropped to about 55.

models suggestion
Hi George,
I saw your new allocation scheme and I thought I'd post some suggestions about how to fill the empty slots.
You were looking for a western european 1977 city bus, and I was thinking about an articulated model which has been heavily in use where I live until a couple of years ago. It's the Fiat 418 with the Macchi bodywork, which was available in both the urban and suburban versions. Here's a pic of the urban version
http://www.ferrovie.ch/milanotrasporti/ ... dorino.jpg
And here are two of the suburban one

http://www.ferrovie.ch/milanotrasporti/ ... 041624.jpg
They're quite unique, as they're four-axle buses, and would add a high-capacity model in the game since the mid Seventies. Their production started in 1977 and ended in about 1985.
There was also the single-frame version, called 418AC, which was 10 meters long and was introduced a bit earlier (around 1975 with this bodywork) and could be a cheaper, smaller alternative to the 421 (as it was in reality). Here's a pic of it
http://digilander.libero.it/AutobusDiLi ... 6_adx2.JPG
I've got original drawings and many pics of both versions (AC and articulated).
I also saw you added a slot for a city bus in 1983. I was thinking about a French model, which would be a perfect replacement for the aging SC10 in the game; the Renault R312. It was actually introduced in 1985 (hope that's not a problem!) Here are some pictures of it:

http://www.amtuir.org/dossiers/95_ans_o ... 7_r312.jpg
http://busexplorer.com/WorldBus/Images/ ... etzAlt.jpg
It was sold in two versions, a two door one popular in Paris and a three door more common in other cities (they might have different livery schemes in the game). It went out production in 1997, with the introduction of the Agora. I still don't have a proper drawing of that, but I've got a picture of its side view (no 3/4 view, real plain side) which I believe you'll be able to use.
What do you say? As for drawing them, unluckily I'll be quite busy for the next year, so I really doubt I'll be able to find the time to learn and draw them.
Perahps some other artists out there would care to help? Like DanMack, or Wile E. Coyote, who drew really nice models? I could supply any of you with what you need, like pictures, info and some drawings. This of course would apply to the Renault TN6 too. (that one would be badly needed, as we still have no western european buses prior to 1950!)
By the way, I guess the 1994 Ikarbuses should be marked as Eastern european on your ID allocation scheme!
