The little station buildings are getting there. You need to combine them with some sort of ornamentation on the bare platforms - light poles, benches, signage, something. Then it'll look right I think.

The covered platforms are better. I'd like to see a mockup of them.

Ok, ready. There was something wrong with the covered platforms, but it's fixed now.

Yes, and I don't like Geo's picture.

What happens when you put two of those platforms side-by-side?

thats a small old station

it looks bad because i got some more station graphics, and they were, EXE, and now i cant get rid of them. + the stations i want dont have the size range. +some of the graphics got muddled up.

anyway, i dont want to go a bit off-topic there.

nice work Jezulkim. those large buildings look really interesting.

This isnt a release, Im just sharing my current .grf's, since I dont have the time to wrap together a nice package.

New graphics, Jez's sheds*, and Singapore Kid's Dutch stations**, and the long lost 'Lopsided Clock' station of Astaths, the later of which took immense searching to find the sprites that didnt have all the colors stuffed up.

New menu scheme, which is better imo, It doesnt ecactly follow a logical order in-game, but re-arranging it would be a pain in the arse, which I want to avoid as it will also invalidate peoples save-games.

There is no readme, no source, nothing. Just two grfs. Feel free to report bugs, so that when I get around to cooking up a full package, it will be relativly bug-free.

*I had to do MAJOR photoshopping to these, because they did not first, conform with a couple of rules for coding, and seccond, they did not tesselate. Both of which I fixed, for free

**Again, people keep giving me sprites that dont conform, I had to split the two merged platforms on each side of the track into individual platforms. People, PLEASE pay attention to how people like Born_Acorn, and Cornelius do theirs.

Windows .grf. Make sure you remove the old .grf and make adjustments to your config. This naming scheme, the bogstandard for this community, will be the one Im going to use from now on.

Cheers Jez, I'll bust open my current pcx and slap those sprites over them.

And the others, well, they're "On the Pile".

EDIT: Speaking of the others, I like how smooth and well shaded you got them, but one small quibble, they're well, too smooth at each joint. Im more used to a bit of gap, well, not a gap, but a noticeable join.

No worrys though, I'll code them regardless of excessive smoothness :D.

Brilliant work Jezulkim.

Problem:

When i click in the tab for more stations under the 'Generic stations' tab, the game cuts out.
Why is this? do i need to get rid of the previous pigs.grf file?

Edit:
Just looking at the stations table, and wondering, shouldnt cornelius name be next to the stations i put togethers? as he made them, all iv'e done is put them together like some kind of jigsaw. He should get most of the credit

Yes Geo, you need to remove the last version each time unless you are completly over-writing it.

Please do read things properly, I gave brief instructions in the attachment descitption.
