hi ive installed the patch and yes ive read the read me file

but how do i actually use the cheats n game ?

do i type them into the sign ?

Yes type them into the Sign in the following manner:
Cht Money 6000000

But thats only half of it, many more improvements are only added through ttdpatch.cfg file in your TTD folder.

The money problem that Atathorn is referring to is that whenyo have about £2,000,000,000, you can't get any more - It just stays at that amount however long you play for.
In Unpatched TTD, the problem was worse, when you got £1 over the max value, the value would overflow and flip to -£2,000,000,000, causing bankrupcy after a few months.
TTD stops this happening, but it is nice to be able to see how much money you are making without the finances window open.
