The screenshot below shows a traffic jam at one of my stations as I think i now have too many trains running on the same line(s). As a newb i'm not sure what i should do about this. If the answer is to build a second line i'm not entirely sure how that should be designed and how complicated the signal system would have to be. I still struggle with basic signal setup like the one in my screenshot.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks

I don't see a traffic jam. What you have there is just a train entering a station while another one waits...
The following screenshot allows trains to simultaneously enter the block, which is efficient (I think this is the solution to your problem). You can add a penalty right before the combo signal to make trains use the line farthest to the north first, like so.

Which GRF is the first pic in this post? The graphics are tons better than mine. Any help appreciated.

It is not a GRF, these are 32 bit graphics http://www.tt-forums.net/viewforum.php?f=36.Biffco wrote:Which GRF is the first pic in this post? The graphics are tons better than mine. Any help appreciated.
