Here's my version. It's 1940 and most of the network is built (I didn't want to overbuild the small island  ).
Goods are only transported from Boulder Bay Lakeside to Boulder Bay West by trucks at the moment and I'm still waiting for some higher buildings in Beachtown, which is already served by some mixed trains. Towngrowth is good and I suppose in 10 years all free areas are eaten up by buildings.
Builder Bay Lakeside has a small port, which is only cosmetic (for theoretic export of goods and imports of food)

edit: okay, ten years later :) : I build some new ports to transport ironore and coal by ship. Still some free areas, but not enough room to extend the network.

Here's a minor facelift on Boulder Breakers. I used the invisible one way road http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... sible+road to protect the structures from towngrowth and the boundary marker http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... ary+marker to prevent AI-players to build new roads. The road network works good, but it's difficult to make money only with trucks and busses and you can easily go bancrupt if you expand too fast with credit.

Rule of thumb: dont post stuff in topics that are over a year old.

It was usefull info, layoff
May the force be with you.
For little boys, three things reign as supreme attention-keepers: tanks, heavy construction equipment, and trains, we all know why where here.

@kalvingp30fan: you don't post in topics over several months old IF you don't have something useful to add. I think in this case, it was something useful to add. give the guy a break. If you have a serious problem with what was said, alert a modeerator and let them take action if necessary, rather than going on about it here - that tends to cause more squabbling and 'useless posts' than it prevents.

And for the record:

Thre are no "bones" to be found as there's nothing wrong with the post. It's on-topic and adds to what was previously posted.

As has been said many times before by many people, if you have a problem with a post, use the "REPORT" button and I or another mod will take action if we deem it neccessary.
