Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]
That's nowhere near all the horse drawn vehicles, make sure you are playing with a version which supports more vehicles via the vehicle pool...
Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]
im playing with 0.6.3
EDIT: when does the first steam bus come out? i have been with horse and carriage rather a long time now

Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]
From what I remember eGRVTS needs a newer version of OTTD than 0.6.3.
Try it with a nightly.

Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]
Try it with a recent nightly or with 0.7.XCompatibility:
Compatible with OpenTTD nightlys r13850 and later
NOT compatible with OpenTTD 0.6.X
NOT compatible with TTDPatch
The steam buses are available around 1860 I think...
Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]
well i don't use nightlys but thanks

Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]
Well if you don't use the nightlies then use 0.7.0 (or 0.7.1 is out soon, it's currently in RC).

Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]
yeah, that's BS. 0.7 does allow opening of saves from 0.6x,
Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]
In fact you should be able to load saves from the very beginning of openttd...
Discounting custom patched versions, of course.

You should even be able to load saves from Transport Tycoon of both the original and the Deluxe version.Thief^ wrote:In fact you should be able to load saves from the very beginning of openttd...
Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]

By the way: I didn't mean to sound rude, I just didn't know that people still used 0.6.3.hectobar wrote:i can't use i didn't use 0.7.0 because i could not load my saved games but now i have my own computer i hope it will work. i just need to get back ttd

Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]
I am using OpenTTD Nightly Build r16973
And I have testet ut ext v1.0.
It seems to work well, but there seems to be an issue with the horse carriage where I can't choose to route them to a end station. I got a message saying that they can't reach the station, the horse carriages can go to a drivetrough station. All of the other veichles can reach the end station.
Has anyone else had this problem?

In OpenTTD, articulated vehicles can only go to drive-through stations.

The articulated vehicles, like the horse carriages, and later the trucks with trailer, and semitrailer, can't go to an end station, because they can't turn around in that. If you want to use them, send to drive trough station.fistersn wrote:I am using OpenTTD Nightly Build r16973

Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]
First of all: Thanks for this wonderful Openttd extension!
Im currently having an issue with one of my horse drawn trams:
I started a game in 1700 where nothing but horse carriages are available and also used them to carry passengers around. No issues so far.
When I replaced the stations and horse carriage by trams and tram ways I noticed one of the trams - not sure how to better describe this - "fell of the tracks" (see picture).

savegame
This happened when I sent all of them to depot so I could extend the stations without waiting for the vehicles to move on.
That one tram cant be ordered to depot, because it claims it cant find it. It also cant turn around, because of the tracks and does not move on.
Is this an Openttd bug, or an issue with egrvs?
Is there any way I can 'kill' this vehicle so I can continue my game?

Re: Generic Road Vehicle and Tram Set [norm. v1.3, ext. v1.0]
i had the same problem breifly
it was something to do with there not being any track (i think)

You have a section of track there that goes nowhere. Demolish the building in front of it and build a half section of tram track or a depot.
