[OTTD] WAS - World Airliners Set - v0.1 (24/09/12)
Moderator: Graphics Moderators
Re: World Airliners Set, The [WIP][Any Help Wanted!]
Well, it's not listed at BaNaNaS, so I guess you need to apply it manually.
EDIT: Though I don't see a released GRF in the first post, so I wonder if there's a GRF released at all.

Re: World Airliners Set, The [WIP][Any Help Wanted!]
No there is now GRF at the moment but we do have a small testing one (private use), and we are planning one that we could release here. But at the moment work is slow and i am still working on research for planes and sorting out so that the currently planes we have made are correct so they can be coded.

If more people get involved, especially coders, we could release a sample set quite soon - we have a small bank of work done, we just need someone to start coding it.

Re: World Airliners Set, The [WIP][Any Help Wanted!]
OMG you are INSANE! Your paints are so good and you do them so quickly. I need to sort out more greyscales - the 757 greyscale I'm trying to make from scratch is murder. P.S. the Thomson 737-800 winglets are blue on both sides with the TUI logo in red on the outsides.
I want to see how far your skills really go - try this one, it will definately be a challenge for you, but we don't have anyone who can paint so well in this kind of detail (Look at my FlyBE 737-300 for proof):
Southwest Airlines 737-700, Maryland One:

If its beyond you, just say the word and forget it.

Re: World Airliners Set, The [WIP][Any Help Wanted!]
Hate to break the chain of success, but I dont think thats possible.
I tried the Maryland one and it just turns into an Antialiasing nightmare. To put it simply, there just isnt enough pixels on each sprite to work with, you have to cram all that detail into a tiny space, so the pattern looks wrong, epecially the front half.
I hope I dont get sacked for this...

Re: World Airliners Set, The [WIP][Any Help Wanted!]
i know its a horrible one, at first when i researched it, i didn't think there was two sides, but two different planes. But after a while i Realized the fox was always on one side the and the Raccoon on the other, well thanks for trying
