[OTTD] Hyronymus' screenshots
I can't fall behind, can I. Just some screenshots of my new passenger route and 2 industrial stations.

Those screenshots are very different of those point to point lines I've seen you build at the LAN Party Hyro, good job
.
I think I have to resurrect my screenshots thread too...

looks good, but i think it'll look better with bufferstops. i usually borrow the Harbour Station buffers or BA's Freight Station (coded by Aegir) buffers or even the generic bufferstop graphics when using JC's industrial stations.

Welcome to the bandwagon Hyr. Nice shots, although, I agree it would look nicer with buffers. Just grab BA's buffers, they are nice, generic, UK buffers.

And who are you?Born Acorn wrote:Well, actually, they're non country specific. (hence the "generic"Raichase wrote:Welcome to the bandwagon Hyr. Nice shots, although, I agree it would look nicer with buffers. Just grab BA's buffers, they are nice, generic, UK buffers.)
Fair point, I concede.
Hyr, more pictures to steer us back on topic, I command thee!

Small update on my network. I made some track cutting through the suburbs of a big town. I think it looks nice as it is. In the top left corner you can see the contours of a coal loading station. That is part of a big network where I have 11 trains servicing 4 mines. Ratings are around 77% but I can't be bothered to buy new engines at the moment. I'm waiting for new stuff to appear

Been busy revamping another area. The city of Drafield expanded so rapidly that I soon found out I had 2 stations relatively close together. I also had a feeder oil train service running around but I wanted to service both oil wells from one station. I also decided to lay in a new "InterCity". All together it took me a few years

These are just for you, Ben. Don't tell anybody
!
The scrrenshots follow the InterCity from Drafield to Nonningville and then to Tunton. En-route you also see the new InterCity station of Mudingham, Mudingham Zuid (South) services the farm.

Re: [OTTD] Hyronymus' screenshots
Yes, ladies & gentleman. Your beloved moderator is resurrecting a topic which has bled to death 1,5 years ago. Fortunately, I add something valuable to it.
Below are some screenshots from my supply chain for a brickworks factory.
NedTrans NV, 24 Jun 1927.png
I found myself a productive gravel pit. Four trains are needed to effecitvely keep the station rates good. 2 trains are loading there as we speak.
NedTrans NV, 24 Jun 1927#1.png
This one is loaded and speading towards the brickworks factory.
NedTrans NV, 24 Jun 1927#2.png
At the brickworks station there is much activity. Not only is gravel arriving but also clay, from two stations. Clay is discharged at the 2 platforms at "level -1" from the gravel discharging platform. To the left, a goods train is leaving the station, on its way to a healthy profit. An oil train is 77% loaded, imminently en-route to the closest oil refinery.
NedTrans NV, 24 Jun 1927#3.png
In the top right corner you see the destination station for my goods trains. To the bottom left is the oil refinery station. Currently 2 oil trains supply it but more will connect soon.
I'm playing with the UKRS and Dutch Trainset beta and of course PBI. Together with the nightly builds of OpenTTD I must say they make a very good game.

Re: [OTTD] Hyronymus' screenshots
Is this 4 attachments in a post some kind of moderator hocus-pocus or have we all been missing a trick here?

Heh, I fear it are my special powers too. I noticed it and was as suprised as you were.Ameecher wrote:Is this 4 attachments in a post some kind of moderator hocus-pocus or have we all been missing a trick here?
Re: [OTTD] Hyronymus' screenshots
*bump* for a good cause. The Dutch Trainset.
The freight trains are NS 2100's servicing two lumber mills. The passenger train is a NS 3700, just leaving the city of Vianen. The Dutch Stations look very nice, albeit a bit too modern.
