I tried to use the HSV values form Teemes' post on my station roof, but it turns out black everytime. Is it supposed to look like that until the mask and CC is applied ingame?

1146m_z0.png should be 1146_z0m.png

The seem mistake I made ;)

Thanks for coding

Oh, I like those tunnels!
But I see a 1-pixel offset in the tracks of the bottom-left tunnel entrance.

Hmm, a shame my catenary 'pole' in the top-right is on the slope. But I guess that's just the way it is. I aligned them as well as I could with the 8bpp graphics. And anyway, them poles are ugly. Also a shame the 'z-index' of the poles vs. wires isn't always correct. But that's either in the dutchcat.grf or has always been like that in the game.

Edit: Ooh.. only now I see the bigger top stones. Nice detail!

And yeah I know this isn't the thread for comments. But you left me no choice by putting it straight here based on the models in the other thread :).

I really hate to complain as these are really beautiful, but with the steel catenary, stone ballast, and concrete sleepers it all looks rather grey and monochrome.

Perhaps the tunnels could have more of a red brick colour.

Hey Zutty, no worries. The ones coded was just for fit. Check the blender thread for updates of what they will look like in the end. http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... start=4340
B.T.W. Maquinista, good work on the station masks. No problem with zooming out anymore.

This is a TAR file with the sprites of the monorail. There are some duplicated files in /openttdw directory. They can be optimized with link files, but I don't know how create it.

Also, the Wacky tropical houses TAR file there is a file that must be duplicated: 4607 in trg1r bust be linked with a new file (1902) in openttdw directory.

(note: the TAR file was replaced by the file in the second next post)

Idea for level crossings. Top, there is a platform between the road and the beam. Bottom, the platform moves when a train is going to pass. Is not perfect, but It would be better than current crossing.

There is a problem with your monorail.tar. In addition to adding the sprite 1117, you are also replacing the sprite 1017 <crossing of normal track> with it. There are also sprites 1031-1034 <normal track on slope> which doubles with your train.tar.

Thanks, I have updated the TAR file, deleting these files.

I like the work on the monorail grassing and coding you've done. The allignment seems to be off on the north-south tracks though.

1. Might be a coding thing with z-order, because it only happens on slopes.
2. Allignment or transparency issue?

With Ben_Robbins_ permission, I have repackaged and fixed some issues with the Temperate No Lines Grass set. These TARs are meant to replace the No Lines RARs found at http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?p=658581#p658581

Very little modification was done to the BARE set, so not to break other terrain sets. All modifications are listed in the attached Readme, and in each TAR.

I have not updated the Wiki, not sure how or if I'm allowed to...Hopefully there's a Wiki-Master out there.. :)

Try em out, let me know if there are any issues...

Jupix has put up a repository for 32bpp graphics:

It's in testing phase, so let's help him to make it perfect

Just an idea I had based on yours:
(cursed.. why did The Gimp default that to jpg?)

Elevated road for the crossing. The half-circular 'canal' could of course be less wide at the crossing, requiring only a smaller part to have to be elevated.

The earlier mock-up for the crossing has the advantage that it also blocks the road traffic.

I prefer your idea, because my idea will have problems. The crossings only have one sprite and the train will be drawn always over the platform. If the platform moves down, there's no problem. But if the platform moves up, It can't be drawn over the train,

Image
This is a problem of the method to draw the sprites in the screen. The problem is that the monorail sprite is draw after the other sprites. This problem is seen also with the road sprites.

Image
This problem is because some tiles have a little shadow on left. I can try fix it.

Cheers up

And keep up the good work, I'm eager to see them in my games :D
