I think Purno is on to something with the little ones - but we can have big ferries too. We can do a little bit of dibbling to make sure the speed / cost / capacity are balanced for gameplay. Depends how you play, but I think some players would find a ferry useful as an alternative to bus routes. How about Plentingford, Gendhill and Treningwell in this map? Up to 65535 vehicles in game (total) with no restrictions of number of vehicles of a particular type - the vehicleID in action0, 3 and 4 is now an extended byte.Anyways, how many ShipIDs do we have in OpenTTD now?

There are 11. I would say because there are so few then you might as well make a ttdpatch compatible version, but it would be very small in comparison...- How many ShipIDs do we have for TTDPatch? I assume we want to make a TTDPatch compatible version too?
