Please disable bright red text in the forum

It does seem to clash rather horribly with the grey, actually. It's the kind of thing that would give me a headache if I had to read a whole passage like it.

It's not possible to disable it, but moderators should generally be on the look-out for bright red text and editing it. If you notice something that hasn't been sorted, feel free to use the Report Post option to alert a moderator.

Born_Acorn: It may look OK on Sub-Silver however that is not the default theme for the forums.
And with the default Transport Tycoon theme it clashes quite a lot.

I suppose you mean the yellow for the links? Yellow is one of the lightest colors, so if you want to have an even lighter color you're stuck with white. Personally, I don't got problems with the yellow links. But what color did you had in mind?

I meant the link yellow, but perhaps I didn't understood the meaning of clash. Let me rephrase: IMHO, the (link) yellow fits less with the grey background than the light red does.

Now let me change my mind ^^ : I just looked at the forum with IE, and the light red made me blind. that didn't happend with Firefox. But still, I don't like the yellow links.

Grey is a pretty weird colour to try and comply with without choosing another shade of grey.

I've gone through the trouble of analyzing the colours of the links and the colour of the background.

Colour of the links: #FCF880
Colour of the default theme's background: #848484

Huh. It seems that W3C says the contrast is too low for this size of text. Weird, eh?

The colours were mainly taken from TTD itself, I believe. Generally, with a few exceptions (eg, bright red text in posts), it's quite readable.
