Re: EFW files
I've never heard of an EFW file before, so I googled it and found this:
http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/18/t883723-an-efw-file/
Try following the advice given there. Beyond that I don't know.

Contributions: BK Enhanced Tunnel Set | Fix TTD GRF Bugs | INFRA Foundations | OpenGFX | OpenGFX+ Airports
Other stuff: The GRFs That Time Forgot! | Buildings in Glasgow
What's that in my avatar? It's the Brighton & Rottingdean Seashore Electric Railway - bonkers Victorian engineering!

Which ones. Specifically. As in: Link to the pages.2007Alain2007 wrote:off the web pages on the forums
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

The pages I PM'd to him as I happened top have them handy when he askedDaleStan wrote:Which ones. Specifically. As in: Link to the pages.2007Alain2007 wrote:off the web pages on the forums

Infra Landscape = http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... &sk=t&sd=a
British Town Names = http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... &sk=t&sd=a
I just check each of these and they saved properly as .zip which extracted the files properly as .grf
Unfortunately these are two of the many files not listed in GRFCrawler, in case you are following this discussion

Re: EFW files
http://filext.com/file-extension/EFW
so it's ZIP file, or EXE ZIP file.
so it's ZIP file, or EXE ZIP file.
what are you looking at? it's a signature!
Re: EFW files
AHA!
(SHADOW-XIII just beat me to it by a few seconds)
Its a "make you think twice" file extension.
Some security programs (such as CA) will rename an attached .zip extension to .efw as these files enter the protected computer.
Some compression applications will actually open them.
However, all you need to do is change the efw to zip and then unzip it. The files inside the zip are the ones that you need.

What application are you using to open your zip files? If you're not sure, just double click on the zip file and tell us what you see.2007Alain2007 wrote:renamed it with zip and it still is not working and i got xp if that help at all

Re: EFW files
I recommend Total Commander (Ultima Prime). Doesn't care about the extension.
