first, the new version of the harbor cranes:
The central beam has been risen up 3 pixels, this should be enough for any train passing under it.
Also, rails have been added to the base.
And second: a work in progress of the old style cranes. They'll be ready soon!
Awesome!!!!!!!!!
Thats all i can say..................
I believe the first 6 from the left are bright on purpose, to make editing easier, but the 7th seems to be the real sprite. Which looks very nice to me..can't wait to see it in action.
>ISA: no,no! off course that's not what they will look like! I'm not that drunk yet.
As Vemarkis points: it's a work in progress: I always draw complex sprites using different colors for each section, so that I can see well where goes each part. Once I have the desired shape, I replace the colors with more accurate ones.
Here is a preview of the final version. What is left to be done is to draw them looking to the north.

Great work Sanchimaru!! One thing though (In case its not in progress at the moment) the old cranes are still on the platform level and I think they would be better at ground level like the other station tiles discussed before.

I would like to take this opportunity to nominate Sanchimaru for the position of Honorable Honorary Harbourmaster in charge of the shipment of all goods in and out of these forums.

OK I thought so I once draw same way as you pointed out!
Sanchimaru wrote:... loose the 3 pixels I rised the central beam...
Hmmm, a rather interesting point. Id recommend lowering it and then adding 3 pixels to the upright ('legs') below the raised crossbar. I think if you add to that part it won't look out of place (In fact, probably hardly noticeable).
Thank you everybody!! I'm happy that so many people is liking this set so far! some even in Technicolor

That would be a honor! but I don't think that Owen is wanting to do so, since the line over the avatar should have to be stretched
> Ben_K: I've found the solution for the cranes (now it's confusing since the old-design cranes are new, but the modern-looking ones are old )
I'll show you soon...
Sanchimaru wrote:...modern cranes...mounted wheels to go on the rails.
Superb idea and great work! The only small thing I would say is that it looks like there are no wheels due to the lowest part of the wheel unit being the same colour. Maybe use a dark grey instead to make the appearance of wheels a little more obvious. Otherwise, its fantastic!
