And the question is somewhat wrong. We do not speak of 32bpp GRFs. We speak about 32bpp PNGs.

I'll be honest - I have no idea what this means, so the possibility of any new player who is getting their head around .grfs understanding the use of .pngs is unlikely, perhaps? Is there some sort of definitve guide?athanasios wrote:And the question is somewhat wrong. We do not speak of 32bpp GRFs. We speak about 32bpp PNGs.

Hi.
You can only use the images that are not labeled "zoom". OpenTTD does not have the required zoom levels.
Kind regards

I got some of the graphics from his website working with the 32bpp feature of the latest nightlies. I just untarred the file, removed the "_z0" part from the file names and added x_offs and y_offs data to the PNG files. I had to find the correct value for x_offs using trial and error but I managed to get the graphics for the lighthouse, the forest and the iron ore mine working. The x_offs value is -31 for all these images. The forest is not completely shown in 32 bit colors because the images for the different growth state of the trees are missing. Only images for the fully grown trees are available.Killer 11 wrote:sorry sergej but as it was mentioned in antoher topic your graphics will not work in the latest nightl;ies becouse the format is not supported.

Before we had TTD styled Simutrans, now we have Simutrans styled OpenTTD
(I. O. M. graphics come from Simutrans.)

Are you sure? I don't know if this IOM was originally created in blender thread, yet it was firstly used in Simutrans. Shadows, as you say, stand as an infallible witness.prissi wrote:No graphics came from Simutrans, as far as I know. The came from the blender thread, mostly. But e.g. Raven graphcis can be surely used, as many other. But simutrans and OTTD have quite different shadows, so one better use the blend files instead of the source.

So as i said the format is not supported for now, you changed the format to the one used currently and they started to work, but not everyone can do that you know.zombie wrote:Hi.
