brilliant work! :) best screenshots i've seen in years.

as far as the buffers go, i'm not using the patch but ottd at the moment, because i'm running osx. so as soon as i get the patch working on crossover, i'll be sure to try out these stunning features.

Aren't adjacent stations also available for OTTD? When I played it some weeks ago this feature was there. Or does the buffer grf not work in OTTD?

It works, also as you have used them. I already use them in my current OTTD game.

Network is getting more sophisticated now.

In the years from 1929 to 1933 the passenger services were pushed as much as the bank account allowed. Some new lines were opened up, so all bigger cities are connected by now. All express line stations were extended or got new platforms dedicated for main line trains.

The most expensive project during expansion was the construction of the main line connecting Michelburg and Limheim. Because of the hilly terrain the company decided to invest in an electrified line already from the beginning.

These shots are really awesome!! Especially Schweinhausen (very realistic expansion style) and Michelmund (simply great!!).
One after one, by the star-dogged Moon,
Too quick for groan or sigh,
Each turned his face with a ghastly pang,
And cursed me with his eye.

Nice screens mtwist. What .grf file do you use to remove the fences from the railway tracks?

No .grf is required, look under one of the tabs at the top with the options like Make Trees See-Through etc, and disable the one labeled Full Detail, or osmething along those lines. That should do it :)

What jamesvassie wrote is right, but that would also remove some other nice details, like the trees in the towns. I am using a special grf removing the fences. It is quite old and not always working fine (sometimes it removes the fences only partially, but deactivating and reactivating the grf fixes the problem).

Before my skiing holidays a load of new screenies...

It is November 1940 now. The last years brought some quite nice improvements for passenger lines aswell as for freight services.

Due to the available powerful electric locos the company decided to establish a new freight line through the mountains around Michelburg. Several heavy freight trains hauled by very expensive BR195 transport the valuable ressource from Cloppenwald Woods through the rough terrain towards Schweinhausen.

Along with the passenger development of the northern part of the map a new freight line for livestock and grain was opened up in autumn 1939. A fleet of trucks delivers grain and livestock from the surrounding farms to a centralized loading terminal near Pfunghausen, to feed several freight trains hauled by the most powerful available steamer BR45. Those trains are again only feeder services to transport the load to Hanmünster Woods. Via ship the cargo is deliverd to Obermund Lakeside to be reloaded a last time onto short distance freight trains. In Hanheim's newly opened food processor tasty frozen meals are created out of the ingredients fish, grain and - of course - mainly livestock.

Amazing shots, two things, surely you make losses with that complex feeder service, and were freezers widely available in 1940, if at all? :P

Nah...maybe you are right. Let's say the fish is cooled by some ice...The livestock will stay fresh till slaughtering, because animals are still alive :D .

I am not sure yet, because the service is quite new, but as far as I can see it makes still some profit!

...continued from above.

In parallel to the construction of new lines some old passenger services were replaced by newer trains and carriages.

Due to the increasing passenger volume the main line was also expanded. Therefore a direct connection from Limheim to Schweinhausen is available since 1935. After a long planning period Limheim aswell as Schweinhausen central station were reconstructed to multilevel terminals.
