large planes cant land at small airports, that was the routine in TTO's days, as I haven't been able to find a similar switch, I think it should be added to the todo list (sorry if this has been added/suggested)

Don't send your large aircraft to small airports.

how about a part of the plane .grf stating whether it can be built in small airports, and whether it can land there?

It is part of the planesets.

The Planeset has either L or S in the name, and av8 has it somewhere in the details.

but av8 says: large, small, helicopter. i can still land large planes at small airports.

planeset says: s, l, h. i can STILL land large planes at small airports.

and i can buy large planes in small airports as well

It would be possible to stop a large aircraft from being started in a small airport hangar, using callbacks, but that's about the only restriction possible at the moment. I think the best solution offered so far in this thread is Dave's.

Incidentally, you're misremembering TTO. It's perfectly possible to use large aircraft at a small airport in TTO, but (as with TTD and TTDPatch) they're more likely to crash.

npe ican send my concords to a small airport, but the just circle around it forever, untill i tell them to go somewhere else.
