in the _ view, you need to see at least 3 pixels rows of the roof.
In TTD, you look at thing from the top, and not straight at it.

The longer type is better.
Please use cream instead of yellow. The trams in Den Haag aren't yellow... The /, \ and | views need to match the -- view... They don't do that in your previous designs...

You might use other sprite as a base for your tram to check the length and hight of all views...

First tip: trams are narrower than trains, so you may draw roof one pixel thiner.
Second tip: you can use scale 2,3 pixels/1 m (as George suggested and I used that scale for Serbian trams).
