a LRC Engine is bringing some coaches to the trainshed; a LRC is servicing with 3 cars, and some out of service LRC`s are waiting in the shed; On the right you will see a complete JetTrain, wich has been placed there for the press.

Didn't Mr Pikkabird already make that one? Or am I thinking of the United Aerospace one?

Oh wait, I'm right on both counts!

These are great! I'm so glad you're doing this, IA.

Here's the engine specs for CPR 2816...

Available: 1930-1960's, then from 2001-future (I'll explain in a minute).

HP: 2000

Maximum Speed: 90 MPH (they were run very fast in Canada).

There should be two copies of the loco: one from 30's to 60's, and one from 2001 onward (since it is still used by CP). Each would need a somewhat different name.

Looking good!!!

Yeah the GO P42 was fictonal.

Wait isn't the P42 like the locomotive that Amtrak has plenty of and Via Rail has for the corridor?

Well that's the loco I was refering to.

Well that loco I was refering to replaced the LRC loco...
Image I like Articulated Buses or Streetcars (Although I really like anything with wheels including planes, Thanks to Seelenquell for making Toronto's ALRV and CLRV for Locomotion. All we need now is a TTC D40LF and D60LF to go with the LRVs. Plus the Scarborough RT vehicles too.)
Resion for the LRV's is to make a good alternative to buses. Visit Here for more info.

Yep but isn't the model number of the Genesis "P42"?
"Genesis P40 diesel locomotives " accoring to Train-sim.com

Er hold on:
HISTORY

The P42 - the Improved Model of the Genesis series

Amtrak ordered and General Electric built these 4200hp locomotives to as a follow on to the earlier successfull 800 series of P40s. Designated by GE as model AMD-103 ( AMtrak Diesel - 103mph ) they were called the Genesis series since they featured many improvements over the previous standard Passenger locomotive practices. They are commonly referred to as P42. Based (mechanically at least) on the very popular Dash9 freight locomotives, these units bring a new face to the Amtrak roster.
These Locomotives are Numbered 1 -207 in Amtrak Service. The order was completed in December 2001.

They have been delivered in all 3 Phase paint schemes (III, IV and V). Amtrak's intention is to repaint them all in Phase V as they come in for major work, finances permitting!

After some initial "Teething" problems with their highly automated controls the "Earthworms" have been highly successfull for Amtrak and beloved by their engine crews for their comfort, ride and pulling power. Altho "Slow to Load", a condition primarily caused by the programming on their Engine Control Computers for emissions reasons, Once rolling they go like the wind. Amtrak motive power dispatchers routinely use a single P4x locomotive in place of two (2) F40s.... And they get much better fuel economy than a single F40 (Never mind 2) while doing all this. Amtrak accountants have theorized that the fuel savings alone pay for the locomotive in a few years.

Lol nice edit... I'll post what I was going to say anyway,

The P40 is a early verson of the P42. It wasn't as succesful (I'm guessing that because there isn't that may P40s).

The P42 used to be the AMD-103. But when VIA Rail bought the P42 it got named the P42 and the AMD-103 disappeared.

Ok, I'm not really good at finding all the specifications, but I'll do my best...

VIA F40PH engine:
top speed: 90-95mph
horsepower: 3000hp

VIA P42 engine:
top speed: 110mph
horsepower: 4200

GO F59PH engine:
top speed: 134km/h
horsepower: 3000hp
began service in 1988

GO bi-level passenger car:
capacity: 162 pasengers
began service in 1978

VIA Renaissance cars:
capacity: 50 passengers

VIA Canadian Cars (I got these from a VIA brochure and counting seats, so numbers might be off):
Skyline car (mid train dome cars) - 62 people
Park car (rear-end dome and sleeper car) - 18 people
Passenger Coaches - I'm guessing around 50 people
Dining cars - 48 people
Sleeper cars - 20 people
Baggage cars - 0 people

Hope these help

BTW, all the ones you've showed so far look awesome. Great work :D

Err you used that P42??? What about the other ones??? Just search Genesis and you'll come up with a bunch of Amtrak locos but keep going and you'll find it. It looks 5 times beter then that one.

EDIT: The GO P42 (Fictonal) is on the first page if you search Genesis on Train-Sim.com

EDIT: WTF!!! THEY TOOK DOWN THE VIA P42 THAT WAS HIGH DETAIL!!!

EDIT: If you search GO at the bottom of the 2nd page you'll find the GO F59PH (The F59PH is the model in the picture that was uploaded by CPCNMAN007)
