That's some nice work there. :) It looks a bit long to me.

And as LocArny correctly points out you need permission from whoever made the MSTS model before releasing it.

Hey that just gave me a idea... SQ why not first convert a PCC from MSTS then fix it up (since most MSTS models dont come out that good).

And yeah you'll need permission.
Image I like Articulated Buses or Streetcars (Although I really like anything with wheels including planes, Thanks to Seelenquell for making Toronto's ALRV and CLRV for Locomotion. All we need now is a TTC D40LF and D60LF to go with the LRVs. Plus the Scarborough RT vehicles too.)
Resion for the LRV's is to make a good alternative to buses. Visit Here for more info.

i don't convert things. even when, i can't "fix it up" afterwards, since i don't have the original-3d-data.
i did all models/renderings/textures myself. no conversions.

seelenquell.pytalhost.com has been reactivated from 16/07/28 till 18/05/31.. now it´s deactivated. at least there..

That's okay. Just was a suggestion but yeah I didn't want you to convert a MSTS model anyway since I tend not to use them in my games.

I dunno... I find the default fleet is cool with having both company colours and fitting in with the rest of the graphics.

I usually use them ether in a save game that I downloaded or right after I downloaded them.

For Trains (call me crazy but) I find the default fleet does the job just fine. I don't need to much varity. But really I like anything that has company colours so I can make them varity so I can make it ghetto!!! :D

EDIT: Plus with all these road vehicle mods coming out lately I've hardly been using rail as much. Plus I found out the trick to make a profitable truck line without them overtaking eachother.

Also I tend to use ALRVs for intercity trains (so in otherwords I put down tram tracks instead of train tracks).

So yeah trains haven't been used much by me except near the start.

That even take more work :P (And trial and error :P)

You need to render the train normal, and a version wich is totaly bright, you will also need to completely render a diferent way :) (In other words: those boxes are useless)

Well i still use the frame, and mines are fine size-wise so stick to using the measuring tool.

As for the size, well its getting it down to a fine art. I render at 50 zoom, IA and plastikman use different zoom levels than me, so it's what suits you. Trial and error as IA says is the only way, you wont learn how to make a whole set overnight.

Think how many times i've re-released some loco's, your constantly learning what suits best, dont be afraid to bin your release and start over.
