[Request for] New Vehicles & Town buildings for OpenTTD
I have looked, but i cant find new vehicles or new town buildings for OpenTTD, i have found a planeset, and train set, but i cant find new vehicles or buidlings, perhaps someon could point some out for me?
For buildings try belugas' New Town Replacement, see screenshot. For vehicles (I presume you mean road vehicles), try George's Long Vehicles version 2. Version 3 may also work in OTTD. More recent versions do not work.

As well as much better NewGRF support (including NewStations) it also has:
Electrified railways,
Additional airports,
A new pathfinder (YAPF),
and many other fixes and improvements.

Just out of interest, which version of Long Vehicles Version 2 did you install into the nightly (I'm using r5442) - Windows or DOS? Only I think I'm going to ask my playing companion if we can do a new co-op game with the US Set and the big trucks, and I'd like to be sure they work before we start.

I am using the windows version of LV2. There is one small problem at the moment using this in the nightlies, cloning does not refit the vehicle to the correct cargo type. I have reported this bug to peter1138.
I have found that LV3 (windows version ) also works in the nightlies (although it also has the cloning bug) but I have only done a quick test.

LV2 works fine in r5442, as does the US Set and the US stations! Fantastic stuff, thanks for that! I don't know why I had so much trouble before, I was using a nightly but I think I only tried LV1 and LV3.75mart3p wrote:I am using the windows version of LV2. I don't think I'll mind the cloning thing too much, the real pain is copying the orders anyway!
