Image I like Articulated Buses or Streetcars (Although I really like anything with wheels including planes, Thanks to Seelenquell for making Toronto's ALRV and CLRV for Locomotion. All we need now is a TTC D40LF and D60LF to go with the LRVs. Plus the Scarborough RT vehicles too.)
Resion for the LRV's is to make a good alternative to buses. Visit Here for more info.

why are you speaking in SQ's name? I made a request for VanHool, and he's working on it. I think if somebody make a request for an Ikarus, which is different from the ones, which are already made, it can't be problem, but you've to wait for it. So please make a request for Invero, I'm very interested in it.

Well, if I could use 3D programs, I'm sure I would make every types of vehicles, except if it is already done, and the requested bus is same as the done one.

So don't be angry for requests until you aren't doing the buses...

doublepost...

a little compulsory reading of Ikarus buses:

Ikaruses are used in lots of countries on the Earth. Especially the ex socitalist countried, eg. Cuba, CCCP (Soviet Union), Hungary, Poland, Vietnam, etc. and lots of non socialists, eg. Great Britain, Iran, Iraq, China, etc. They were made in Székesfehérvár, only 42 kms far from my home, but it's inmaterial. Ikaruses are in every types: eg. right-wheeled, double-deckers, double-bendi, etc.

That's why there are lots of requests for the hungarian made Ikarus buses.

It's hard to say all types... Ikarus made SO MANY types!!! I wish i can use these damn 3d-modelling stuff... so many types, in so many countries... and also, nobody cares about ex-Communist countries' vehicles... USSR, Poland, People's Republic of Hungary, Czehslovakia, Romania, Yugoslavia, East Germany (DDR, German Democratic Republic) made good vehicles.

SQ i hope you remember IFA trucks which was made in DDR :D

why do people forget about our region, East Europe???

In the USA public transport is... a bit undeveloped... in USA and Canada people have big cars with V8 engine, nobody uses bus or tram...

In my country a new car is expensive, people take big loans to buy new car, and many use good old east-european cars like Lada, rear-engined Škoda, Dacia, Wartburg, Trabant, Zastava (YUGO) (Wartburg and Trabant was also made in DDR, YUGO is Yugoslavian, Škoda is czehslovakian (nowdays Czeh), Dacia is Romanian, Lada is USSR car(nowdays Russian, Moskvich also)

So somebody must do east european vehicles...
Kosov from the depths of East Europe!

My English isn't good but i never use translating programs :D

I had a Chinese gf, for 3 days, now she's in Germany because she studies there... she was my first serious gf.

Nice sentimental post, though I'd like to point out that Czechoslovakia, Poland and Hungary are considered being "Central Europe", not Eastern.

Also, I come from the relatively poorest region of Czechoslovakia and although I live in Prague, when I visit my hometown, I'm amazed at how much it's progressing. Noone is driving old Skodas, Wartburgs or whatever there was before anymore. There's all kinds of modern cars driving around, everyone can afford a standard Renault / Ford / Skoda.

Although my post is a bit offtopic, I just wanted to make sure that the forum users aren't thinking of this region as being some kind of dump where people eat rats and drive on horsecarts as you made it sound like.

So if I make a request for a Invero someone might do it?

Okay making a request then. Plus instead of a blue print, I make papermodel for the Invero on the Transport thread here. They can be found on page 5-6. I usually make unreal buses which that's all I have made so far.

So these I guess will help.

EDIT: Can you delete this post and this topic all together? I was half asleep when I made it.

lol... it is East-Central... and East because this region is poor post-commuist region. And maybe the new car owners get big loans to buy the new cars. Personally i don't really understand buying new cars and pay for loan for 5 years...

And somebody should care about makeing post-communist vehicles.

Hell we have a shortage of buses here in Canada... Ever since we got Low Floor buses all of our buses have been super crowded. It's no kidding no one takes the bus here. It's ran so bad.

That's why everyone drives here. Our transportation system is s***. Plus tomany people live in the suburbs.

Well ever run out of buses there is loads of North American Buses to do. Example: D30LF, D35LF, D40LF, D60LF, RTS, Invero, Some NABI Buses, NovaBus LFS (which is the s***est buses in North America and its the first bus designed by Nova), Orion III (aka Canada's Ikarus), Orion I &II, Orion V, Orion VI, Orion VII and this list can go on and on.

But these are optional so you can do them if you want or have free time because your not filling any requests. Just suggestions.

I can wait 5 months for these if I have to.

OK

Zaporogets or Zaporoshets (ZAZ 968 or ZAZ 968M i think) it was Russian car with rear V4 engine, air cooled :D

We had some in Hungary but it wasn't too popular at all... Hungarians buy Trabant 601 instead :D

Germans can make precise stuff (East Germans also).

Opel Astra? Astra F ? Opel made them in Hungary too in Szentgotthard, the Western settlement of Hungary, but now it only produces car parts for Opels. And Audi has engine factory is Gyor, Hungary (V8 and maybe V6 engines), and Suzuki has a plant in Esztergom, near River Duna (or Donau in German)

And we make NABI buses now...

NABI was made by Ikarus in the past... Ikarus 286, Ikarus 416 and Ikarus 436 was types for USA, NABI made them. And now it come back to Hungary... funny isn't it? :D

Wow!

China nowdays produce many car types... some licensed from Western, some are own designed. In my country many people buy new cars, but mainly from loans...
Old communist-era vehicles still in use.
IFA trucks (East German) are still running and carrying cargo :D

Buses and trucks have more % of old communist-era vehicles than passanger cars. But cheap cars (like Dacia Logan and Škoda Fabia and Suzuki) is popular here. :D
