[wip] New tunnel graphic for new patchfeature

Discuss, get help with, or post new graphics for TTDPatch and OpenTTD, using the NewGRF system, here. Graphics for plain TTD also acceptable here.

Bit of a n00b question...

They dont work for me, when I start the game an error comes up and says OBRIDGE1W.GRF - Read Liesence (if you can understand my spelling). Any ideas why this is?

And yes I have tried reading the liscence

It's my bridge, and the solution is in the text file in the zip.
The tunnel has no license dongle.

Some of us have some peculiar habits :roll:

Simply put in 4713 after the name; (OBRIDGE1W.GRF 4713)

Now what you really need to do is get your server to serve up a dynamic GRF/Readme with a randomly selected key, so that no two people will have the same key.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Nice, but shouldn't the tunnel entrances be full of snow? They don't produce any heat AFAIK, so the snow wouldn't melt. And since the tunnel entrance has a flat roof, all snow falling on it (as much on the tiles next to it) will not fall of either.

Sure, but gameplay wise a fully covered one would be boring and very hard to spot at the tunnel backends, you can't already see what track type it has only the small thingy on it tells it to you... So I go with the more work and less reality..

Question though, are we going to get maglev support at some point?

As maglev don't work on the enhancetunnels I don't consinder drawing maglev tunnel entrances...

Korenn: Because TTD doesn't provide the necessary graphics... (Look for Sprite 1169 and following)

It would not be possible to use some sort of variable or callback (inexperience showing through here) to detect what type of track was on the top of the tunnel, and have a set of sprites that did work for the maglev rails?

Enhancetunnels has no graphic code selection code... neither Action 3 2 1 support, neither action 5 support... (Only a lot code to make tunnel graphics work)

Newroutes will hopefully solve this problem ...

Just asking would trains see this as a crossing and stop if a train is going though the tunnel?
