Yes - it is very good, especially with features like the waterfall. All the buildings are custom modelled and some of the TR locos are in the pack too. Its the sort of complete fuss free package that is nice to get for MSTS once in a while. Its not challenging to drive particularly but it is good to chill out with.

Thank you for telling me that. I've had a rough week, and I find that driving trains on the NEC while listening to music helps. However, since the music is Irish, I think I should probably listen to it on this route (even if it's in Wales, it's closer that D.C.).
Back on topic, this week has been busy, but I will try to work on it this weekend.

The Talyllyn Railway is what the Rev. used to create the Skarloey Railway (look earlier in the topic).
There is a Thomas loco for MSTS, but as I have said before, I don't know how to put MSTS trains in LoMo. If someone else wants to, that's fine.
I apologize. I haven't been working on the Island much (although I do have the rest of the mountains done, along with the Culdee Railway).

You could always get Making Tracks' new Irish Enterprise route, although much to my chagrin they've released the Ulster section (Belfast-Dundalk) section first, with the Dublin-Dundalk section (which I think more people were interested in) to follow... eventually.train-a-mania wrote:Thank you for telling me that. I find the NEC is indeed a relaxing, hypnotic drive - I use the driveable E60 and CD2 of 'Chilled Out Euphoria' if I'm really stressed, or the Acela and James' 'Pleased to Meet You' album if only a bit stressed.

There's a great activity called the Twilight Shoreliner which you should try (it's on Train-Sim.com)

Yes, the NEC is relaxing. However, you have to keep to a tight schedule. On the Talyllyn Railway, you just cruise at 25 MPH.metalangel wrote:You could always get Making Tracks' new Irish Enterprise route, although much to my chagrin they've released the Ulster section (Belfast-Dundalk) section first, with the Dublin-Dundalk section (which I think more people were interested in) to follow... eventually.

The Activity I like is called Night Owl, but it comes with the Roundhouse MSTS package.
The name Sodor is a Manx name itself. Also, on a map of the Island that he drew, there are a few railways on the Isle of Man, but he doesn't elaborate on them.
I plan on having an update later...Stay tuned!

Yep, that's the one. It would be even nicer if someone translated it over to the vastly superior NEC v4.train-a-mania wrote:The Activity I like is called Night Owl, but it comes with the Roundhouse MSTS package.

What's better about NEC v4? Can this be found on Train-sim?metalangel wrote:Yep, that's the one. It would be even nicer if someone translated it over to the vastly superior NEC v4.train-a-mania wrote:The Activity I like is called Night Owl, but it comes with the Roundhouse MSTS package.
Anyways, the long-awaited update! I finished the mountains, the Culdee Railway, the line down to Kirkronan, added a few wheat farms, built two new rivers, and added more cities.
I figure I'm about halfway done. And yes, I know the landscape looks bare. I plan on adding plants last.

- Although you can't see the Culdee Railway, it is done.
