Possibly.
If that works, it would probably be a better idea to use variable 81; it contains the necessary info, and 80+x variables are usually faster than 40+x/60+x vars.

For choppers, there's clearly some magic going on with the rotors; it requires an override 3 to change the rotor, even though it has the same ID as its chopper. Similar magic may be applied to the shadow; I've never needed to know.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

The shadow sprite is calculated separately, but all the variables are those of the plane itself, so it isn't currently possible to distinguish between shadow and plane. This wouldn't be too hard though, I could easily set var.10 to 1 for the shadow.

Most var. 40+x are cached (the exception being those that can change outside of stations/depots; currently 44..46), so for the most part they're just as fast.

I thought that the 3 fuselage dinger from the original graphics looked like a space ship, so I added a rocket motor to it. (from that funny one with the yellow strip.)

That's probably because it's the Darwin 300 (747) from TTO/Mars
The Dinger 1k was the Yate Haugan.

[edit]Apologies to the former ttriplepost, I kept being redirected to the 'Donations' thread for some reason. Don't know if it was Owen hinting or the Monkey playing up.[/edit]

Is this project still going? If it is, I can help you with the graphics and coding. Just tell me what kind of graphics/coding you need.

Sorry for bumping an 8 year old thread, but I'm really hyped to make a moon colony newgrf set. I'm pretty great with graphics, but I suck at coding. If anyone is down to continue this project, I'd be glad to provide all graphics you need, houses, industries, vehicles, landscape, anything!
