Possibly because Transport Tycoon Deluxe doesn't have electric train routes, nor overhead wires. Neither does OpenTTD.

If you come from England, wouldn't the British Rail set not be foreign?

That shouldn't be possible. Are you sure you made the correct settings in newgrf[w].cfg?

The BR set doesn't have any space left for foreign trains! It hardly has the room to cram in all the British ones.

Umm. Wouldn't that be openttd.cfg here? :P

Although this might be TTDPatch. In which case a moderator should move it poste-haste!

Note that many of the DB set trains are called "BR [somethingorother]". In this case, I believe BR stood for Bundesrepublik, although I may be wrong. Are you sure you didn't download the wrong set? :?

Yeah for instance the BR120 and BR101 which are modern German DB electric locomotives. Or the BR01 which is a very old steamer.

My apologies, the BR stands for "Baureihe" I have been informed... I could have sworn I read it otherwise a while ago, but I guess not. ;)
