its basicly a concept for articulated truck/trailers. so that we can form 2+ part vehicles on the road (like trains are done on the tracks effectivly.

it means that vehicles could have custom trailers for them, and you would then be able to purchse the trailers indipendantly from the cabs.

Cool, but about road trains, if you have a truck with 3+ trailers it would not be able to go round the 90 degree corners of road without hitting the curb and any un-suspecting pedestrians right?

its been done ;)

i would say that trucks for realism would go up to 2 trailers till about 2010, at which time they may go a lot longer, and longer, and longer...

to keep road vehicles competitive into the future. and because i think they will get longer and longer...

currently australia is really the only country using 5+ trailer vehicles (that i know of)

I believe there's also comparable road trains being used in Alaska, and likely also Siberia. Pretty much anywhere isolated enough and with enough straight and flat roads will see that kinda thing crop up.

cant you copy all of the pieces for the normal train track and replace it all with a new type of road only for road trains, make the train depot another type of depot thats bigger and more suited for road trains, when you go to staition you should be able to drag a lory station for the size of your choice and replace all the train graphics with road trains
so just like railroad construction when you click on the road picture it say 'road construction' and under it it says 'road train '.

im sure you all understand what i mean.

Say what? I didn't catch any of that, it sounded like rushing water. Try using punctuation, and explaining your ideas a bit better. Sounded to me like you wanted trains running on roads?

2: changed the coppied version into road trains and put it under road construction'
3: change all the railway graphics to a new type of road designed for road trains

do you get all that so far?

4: change the depot graphic to a new type of depot designed for road trains.
5: exchange the train graphics with road trains.
6: when you click on build road train station you should be able to make a road train station the same way as a train station. you can make the road train station as big as you like so the road train fit in.

basicaly change everything to look like a road train. using the railway graphics.

now do u understand

Now that one ruined all post!
Becouse first you said clone the rail construction then place the cloned construction in build road menu then change all gfx of the cloned construction to road specialy designed for road trains then change the depots to fit road trains and stations to fit road trains and now with that little sentence you negated all gfx change so it was plain nonsence.

Yes. No need to post like that though, don't post twice in a row, and please use the edit button if you think of something else before someone posts after you.

All I understand is that you need:
1) a keyboard with a working shift key,
2) a browser that doesn't auto-correct "you" to "u",
and
3) a comprehension of the word "proofread".
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
