How to build trams
I don't know how to build trams
. When I build a tram depot it shows road vehicles instead of trams. What should I do?

Skrilax - What tram set in particular? What year are you in? Have you activated the tramset grf in the graphics status window?

I have activated the tramset grf files in the graphics status window (I have patch alpha 69 and the actual tramset grf file). I can build tramsites, depots and stations, but not any tram. You're not answering the right questions. What tram SET is it, ie what TRAMS have you downloaded? There seems to be a bug in a69 with cargo weights and freighttrains=off.

See HaroldV's second and third posts on that page - I could replicate the problem:
freighttrains = off
- 30 crates of goods increases the train weight by 75t (= x5?).
freighttrains = 1
- 30 crates of goods increases the train weight by the correct 15t.
freighttrains = 0
- cargo is weightless!
I think it is also causing the problems habell is having here:

a) I cannot get a modified currency display name (0A) recognized and shown in the drop-down currency window (title screen and in game) using action 0 feature 8. BTW, all other currency properties work fine when defined using action-0 feature-8.Problem with 'Action 0 - Feature 8 : Properties for general variables' and changing currencies
b) the wiki says : action-0 feature-8 is not processed during initialisation. Unless using the old way, how can we get currency display names modified in the title screen ?

I have a very strange bug now. Look at the savegame and pause it. Search the trains 50, 48, 47, 46 (on the right side) and click on each "ignore signal" button.

The trains will crash, the game as well.

Unfortunately, it does not make any difference; I cannot get that modified currency display name to show up in the drop-down list window; i.e. in game and in the titlescreen. Otherwise the modified currency behaves normally and as defined.Patchman wrote: ... use an action E with an action 7 "is in title screen" check to force-activate the grf in the title screen only.
I don't think I made a mistake in the code. I also tried to shift it around, i.e before and after action-8.

In the AlpineClimate .grf, force activation does work in a69, so this may possibly be a special currency-related problem (?).

I think I've found the problem: there was a small bit of code patchman added to the wrong place.
