Why do the roofs have different shadings/colors?

the idea is from my model railway it was exactaly the same and here is the finished product


took me 1 hour not a couple of minutes

Add some shading at the sides of the van. Also put some more details under the van (like wheels).

Pay attention, / and \ wiews are the same colour. You must shade sides in different brightness.

Purnos tutorials say not to put the in since its hard to see them at that angle anyway

Purno had many a clash with me and Bastiaan about his reluctance to draw wheels in diagonal views. In my opinion they can be seen and the least they do is create a gap between the wagon's floor and the track.
