A doctored screenie, mostly to show off the fact that I have coded a couple of commuter trains.
Lets have a look at the motive power on display here...
At the southern end of the screenie, a 422 wanders into the sidings with a full load of grain hoppers, where a 48 Class is waiting for the signals to clear.
Up on the mainline, a 57 Class rushes through with a full train of packaged goods, headed for the city. Also entering the station on the track next to it, is a 6-car commuter train.
Comprising of a pair of B-Sets, and a couple of the new double-decker trailer coaches, it is headed into the city with a full train. Due to old wooden stock being slowly withdrawn and scrapped, there is a shortage of trailer coaches, otherwise it would be an 8-car set.
Speaking of double-deckers, on the next track is a 4-car set coming out of the city. Made up of a pair of the short lived Tulloch Control-Motors, with another couple of Tulloch Trailers in between, it rumbles into the station with a nearly empty train. This train will be terminating here.
Finally, on the Northernmost platform, is a strange mix of rolling stock, standing in for a failed inter-urban train. W3 leads the train, being altered to carry parcels rather than passengers. It is still in the livery it was built in, back in 1935. Following it, is a single-decker coach painted in the new Indian-Red livery. Behind that, is a Tulloch Double-Decker, still sporting the ugly Blue/White livery. Behind the Tulloch is another power car, this one again wearing the Blue/White. Following this set is another 4 car set, mostly painted in the new livery.
Still got a lot more work to do, I'll post some more progress as it comes.

Great stuff Rai, as always.
Can't wait to get my hands on that AUSet. Need to play with all those EMUs... Might be the perfect set for me.

some pictures from my latest game. These first two show the renewal ofone of my bussiest junctions. The problem here is that a lot of goodstrains and high speed passenger trains come together, which leads to jams!

- The bussiest food factory. It operates on grain, livestock and a lot of fish, which trains pick up at a station down the mountain at a fishersvillage. The mountain makes it necessary to use trains with a lot of power... Food is picked up by fast trains an

- This is further down the main main line ;) Here it comes together with another main line. Again a lot of industrial traffic in the form of food, coal, wood and goods. And ofcourse passenger and mail with faster trains and commuter!

- Rotthausen is the fishervillage I was talking about. I do not like to travel here, it kind of stinks here when the wind is pointed in the wrong direction ;) This does mae sure that the trains are loaded quickly!

How do you mean? You couldn't buildonslopes in TTO OR TTD, at least not until TTDPatch.Menno wrote:I wonder if the TTO monorail had supports on sloped tiles? I mean those 'half' foundations you have now...

No I meant the sloped pieces of monorail track, sorry. Lloyd wolf got my point. Indeed they didn't use anything that looked like the TTD monorail, but as far as I can remember, the sloped (and bridge-) track pieces of monorail did not have any supports at all. Like you see in the above screenshot in the middle of the monorail bridge. But I'm pretty sure the supports that are used now in the screenshot are not the same as in TTO.
*hmz*
Nice! Is that orange just orange colour or company colour? And how did you make the destroyed land have tto graphics? Could you post your grf somewhere? maybe tto set topic...^Cartman^ wrote:Here is a picture of TTO's monorail style.
