- Here's one of my Terminuses a little north of the past Screenie.
It's sorta inactive, because the outflow of passagers isn't very high right now. - NorthTerminus3.png (87.85 KiB) Viewed 2420 times

Hm. My screenies above seem to be in the wrong order entirely.
The right order is:
Anyways, let me post 3 more screenies, 2 of my extravagant airports.
The right order is:
Code: Select all
Top ->Middle
Middle ->Bottom
Bottom ->Top

- Here is another RO-RO station that's identical (In layout of the passing) to the other, except the turn-arounds are later on. This is currently part of the inactive line.

Wow, those airports look really cool

Here's a Two way and Two way junction that was quite good... but now is gone because it was prior to all the major mods to the patch so I deleted most of them and it was included...Sorry bout the text I was going to try and remove it but couldnt... and one of the lights is going the incorrect way and I know which one it is and later in the game I did fix it but this was made before...

The problem is that an impressive junction is rarely a good junction.
Patchman has designed a less impressive, but smaller, cleaner, and more robust (no jams possible) version and posted it over here.

To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Play the AU Set - You know you want to... Here's a quick mockup of how a game might look in the later years, using Jims TTD Squares scenario as a base.
Here we have an Explorer Set, bound for Canberra waiting for it's final passengers. It's not due out until 1632 anyway.
A rare sighting, of an M-Set in the terminus platforms. The 8-car set is waiting to start the evening peak service out to Riverstone, departing at 1705.
A 6 car S Set returns from City Circle duties, and is headed south for Cronulla.
Meanwhile, an 8-Car set, a mix of R and S Sets arrives on the City Circle line, after running up from Dapto.

about text on image: Then do not enable everything what's in TTDPatch, the best is to start new games, with old games (oeginal TTD games) play with disabled major TTDPatch featuresfurdude6 wrote:(...)
but it's ALL in TTDPatch Manual, if you wouldn't read it whole you would know, it's your problem

simple tip: be smart, read about a thing you are going to enable

and those 90 degree turnings looks very bad
Raichase: very beautiful station
what are you looking at? it's a signature!

- A few years (oh, give it 30 or so) on, and we see an M-Set waiting in the outer suburbs. A new OSC set glides through the station - being an intercity service, it doesn't stop at the minor stations on the route...

A circle line which never crosses to the other track.
The trains flow one way, and one way only.
One line is electric, the other is steam =) - SCR184.jpg (128.64 KiB) Viewed 1886 times

- One of the terminal stations.
This station doesnt just link up with the other stations shown, but also has 2 other links to 2 other main lines. - SCR187.jpg (139.71 KiB) Viewed 1886 times

- A completly uniqe design.
The station offers shelter for passengers as they walk between the platforms. If they wish however, they dont have to use the shelters and can walk along the Patio. - SCR188.jpg (133.31 KiB) Viewed 1886 times
Hi Rai,
Nice shots there. Indeed great advertisment for the AUSet. Can't wait to play with all the EMUs and DMUs. Great stuff.
Gheo, Nice pics too, man. interesting idea with your station layouts.
So, I think it is time for me to share some random impressions from my latest game. I'm playing a scenario I made myself a while ago already, but somehow I never played it, until now.
Main focus of the map is the busy harbour area of Hamburg. I'm currently in 1953 and already ran out of space, with not even half the industries connected.
here are just some random shots
Schweinsrugge.png
The little village of Schweinsrugge is not very happy with me currently. All they got from me is a busy freight line, hauling wood bye the village day and night. On the other side, they have the beautiful viaduct, cutting the village in half, and a twice daily local service, stopping in the station too far a way from the village, to be attractive.
The spot here however is loved by trainspotters, which can sit in the woods all day, taking pictures of the trains passing by in the lovely scenery.

Ok, we follow this freight line hauling the wood down to Freihaven Papermill
This is probabely the best line a such, as it has a lot of up and downhill struggles, single and double tracked, etc.
Here, our train passes bye the little village of Greifswald. Nothing more than a church and a Clinic. People come here to make a "Fresh Air Therapy". This brought the village the bye-name "Luftkurort" as they say in Germany. The little local train is packed with travellers from the stinky cities of Hamburg and Bremen, to spend some quality time here.

OK, Further down the line, and we got into a more hilly territory again.
Our line got squeezed in between two passenger lines, the village, the roads and the mountains. The Crocodile has to work hard, pulling the train uphill. Just on the right side, the Hamburg to Freihaven Intercity is visible also, and on the road, Trucks are hauling crates of beer to the Oktoberfest in Wilderwald, the next bigger village.

Ok,
Last one from this wood train, I don't want to bore you too much
Just south of the village of Bietingen, our line has to cross a deep valley.
Deep down in it, a canal is connecting the river Rhine with the North sea. The fleet of ships is bringing the paper down the river to the Hamburg Hafen area, which we will see in the next pics.
