Yeah i know, but the quene isn't evrytime so long that it blocks the mainline. And i was too lazy to change it
And btw the goods pickup station isn't my work (i've only expendet the station once)
For a change, plus i dont normally post these sorta shots, i thought id post a screenie of my factory. It producs around 10,500 crates a month, not a bad feat id say, and i know others have got more, im not boasting!
Sure it's easy when you have several square miles space to station build on...
But with a limited space, this is so far best I have made: (network game with day length and subsidiaries patches.) http://rp-design.totalnfs.net/omat/shot ... nappe1.png (PNG 240KB)
Has 13 platforms for trains, 62 trains and 125 trucks visiting and steel mill produces 3850 tons of steel in month. saw mill isn't bad either with it's 1440 crates of goods per month.
actually, good point... I need to check what are the production numbers in normal time space. Time goes now 3 times slower so, trucks for example deliver 3 times more iron ore in a month than normal. (if we assume that the production of 2 iron ore mines is also 3 times bigger than usual.) Still, it does not change the fact that there's 63 trains visiting that station and it handles the traffic.
most of the traffic comes from steel and iron ore trains.
Continuing on the factory theme, this is from a multiplayer game from tonight. SirkoZ is supplying the factory and I was delivering the goods (and passangers) to the surrounding cities and places further a field. I no its not what some people have but I don't think its that bad for a multiplayer game on difficult terrain built in sub tropical climate.
P.S i hate the 90 degree turns in my stations, but it was the only way i could get them to fit.

a game i've been working on for a while not finished yet, single factory on the map, some of the town i've encouraged growth as you can see, i'll grab a pic of the main factory stations when i'm at home later

You've made me REALLY curious how much goods that factory produces! That's really just a piece of art. I wouldn't mind to see a savegame of that game to see how you manage it all. And I was already happy with a factory that produces 8000 goods a month .
My massive transport company which has been at last year for a month or so now of RL time.
The circular station is a WIP and its highly confusing I really have NFi what to do and its a massive bottle neck, but it still works. Albeit a little slow.
At one point it broke 200,000 people in slinbourne. But its population declined because my services is getting bad due to the above mentioned WIP station.
