Hey, Foxalpha, can we see a bit of the real network now, instead of just the map? :(

If builders built building the way programmers wrote programs, then the first woodpecker that came along would destroy civilization

The statistics speak for themselves. Can you believe that one single, misplaced signal caused all that trouble for me?

Let this be a lesson to us: it doesn't always pay off to put all eggs (stations and tracks) into one basket (network).

That is why I stay away from massive junctions. I prefer to only use T intersections; there simplicity makes them easy to get right. But even still I am bitten by this problem ocassionally.

What would be great would be a little icon over any block that could not be entered or exited.

Hey, if you look at my previous screenshots (they're all from the same save game) you'll see that my network is large because the map is large, and the reason why I have so many gridlocks is actually because I DON'T have big junctions to take care of my trains. :P I have only one big station, the rest being smaller 2x5 or 3x6 ones.

That's one way to do it yep, but I like overseeable networks, with long straight tracks and big junctions :P :D (as you see in my savegame)
