Replace loco, lose cargo and next destination
When a train loco gets old and I send it to a depot to replace it, once it's got the new loco, it remembers the route the old train had. Well and good. But it forgets where exactly in the route it was; it wants to start over from the top. I could have sworn it used to remember. Also, any cargo it might have had is lost, but I don't think a fix for that ever made it into the Patch; not sure though.

Huh? I'm 100% certain it's not working here. At first I thought I was goofing it up, then I watched carefully and tested in several times, and for sure it isn't working. I've got a48, are you maybe using a test a49 that fixed a bug by accident while you were working on something else? No switch controls that, does it?

You are describing EXACTLY what I am seeing. The train remembers its orders, but NOT which of its various destinations is the next one it's supposed to go to.

Actually, yes, as I recall, I generally do.

Absolutely no problem here with remembering which order is next when I replace a loco, whether it's while paused or not.

OK, this is truly strange. It's not just me with the problem; but, not everyone has it. You wouldn't be using the DOS version Oracle, would you?

Is there any way it could have something to do with the GRF file? I'm using a US set alpha test GRF.

I haven't tried it with a new game yet, but I tried some tests with this current game. When I replace the engine when the game is paused, it loses its next destination. When I replace it with the game running, once it remembered the next destination as it should, and the next time it forgot it! Weird.
