help noob with newstations

ok first off im new with this grf thing and im wanting to use the industrial stations grf's but i cantr get them to load. it says that i have to put 'newstations on' in my ttdpatch.cfg file.

now how do i do that and if possable has somone got a .cfg file with the switches for the US set and stations set already on their comp? if you do can u please post it here for me as i am having no luck whatsoever with this and its starting to tickme off....im a bit of a laymen wen i comes to modifiing files like this...i just dont understand the switches.

There's a line in ttdpatch.cfg containing that newstations switch, you can edit it with a text editor such as notepad.

For the graphics, there is a file called newgrf.cfg, where the installed GRF files (in the newgrf/ folder) should beincluded.

Errmmm.... The graphics config file is newgrf.cfg if you have TTD DOS. If you have TTD Win, the file defaults to newgrfw.cfg instead. The newgrfcfg switch can be used to change this, though.

Try using TTDXC Configurator. You can adjust everything with it.

Well, everything except miscmods and experimentalfeatures. Yes, I know it claims to be able to set those, but in that department, it's still unconvinced that any version other than 2.0r1 exists.
