I am going to announce this to the masses I have plans for a User Created Expansion Set THIS WILL BE HUGE! it will include: updated music (in those data files) all the add-ons on these forums I hope for contributions but please don't bite my head off if this is a crap idea... plus i am only doing this if its a good idea.

This will never work.
Besides you don't get permission from all artists.
Who takes care of all updates?
Ever thought how masive a zip file would become with all the *.dat's in it.
When you are going to make a scenario, you have to walk trough hunderds of mods to check in the objdata directory.
Let the people choose for them self, with wich mods they want to play.
so nope.

Shut up. If it was going to feature, you should respect and be grateful for the fact that someone considered it good enough to feature in such a set.

Just because they're included in the bundle, doesn't mean they will be used in every game. I'm for the idea, regardless of how many selfish, unreasonable authors want to object on the grounds that it doesn't pay them enough respect.

Now, all of you, stop the arguing. Let www create his set, as long as he knows to only use the graphics that people allow him to use. Nobody is to use this thread as a soapbox for pro- or anti- copyright discussion.

I'm not going to take sides in this one, but I am sick of seeing these discussions spill out of their threads into other ones.

What i ment was that it mustn't become one hughes file with unsorted datfiles.
Than it would become a crime to setup a new scenario.

He is right though, in the other thread I sided with Akalamanaia and the other artists since their thigns were "stolen" without crediting or permission, but here, he is asking for permission, and Akalamanaia acts very rude.

Sorry to interupt here, but i think i do kinda agree with www .
its not fair to treat others in an unfriendly way, other wise, they will do it back to you.
If im reading this correctly, if you dont want your graphics in this pack, say so nicely.

obviosly none of you have seen the rc2 uces, it comes with more cool stuff than you can shake a stick at. if we could have more cool stuff than you can shake a stick at for lomo then we would stop losing people to ttd,
and all the other cool games out there for that matter.
