I've had a look at the vehiclepacks now. I have to defend Soul_of_death. He made a file "!!!!! VehiclepackLIESMICH" which he put into all of his packages and where he gave credits to everyone. Please have a look at this file and tell me if this is enough or not or just give your opinons. I've deactivated the vehiclepack at the moment because I haven't had the time to remove Akalamania's file yet, and I don't want to have the package online with his file against his will. So if you don't have it downloaded already and want to look at it, you'll have to wait until tomorrow.
Downmaster, I guess you were talking of this? http://www.locomotion-fanpage.net/forum ... ?fileid=14 I've changed it now to your name. If this is the wrong file, you wish other credits or you want your file to be removed, please PM me.

Wessex, don't give up. We will deal with this problem.. and it seems fairly isolated. It wouldn't make sense for people to stop making objects as that would hurt the community even more!

I can't give you a direct link AFAIK because the address in my addressbar doesn't change... but how to find them:

http://www.bufus-central-station.tk/ --> locomotion --> downloads --> programs

and

transport tycoon --> programs

(more TT related objects than LoMo related, indeed, but I didn't want to start a new topic for that)

Oh, seems that the guys from the "locomotion fanpage" updated the authors!

Quick response, respect for that...

Steve, I am now discussing the matter in private with the affected person and I can come to many conclusions myself, but since it is time to check out the facts now that I have "let off steam" in my Live Journal post. This should allow the user to explain his side of the story.
All I can say is really that it should never of happened and I hope others learn that it is not to be repeated.

However, I am considering whether to release the coach that is on the right, near where my name is on this banner:

I didn't actually want to annouce it either, quite simply because it is one of those beta items that I wanted to get some experience going. I really got to figure out how to render the bogies too, to which would be my first bogie for an item of stock (the other 2 were 4 wheelers).

Hello everyone,

we've gone through the filebase this weekend and have corrected the missing entries. Now, every single file should have the proper author. I would like to say sorry again to the authors we hadn't entered correctly! Even if it wasn't by intention, it was a big failure. We will make sure that in future absolutely no one will be left out. We realize that this is not just important but even indispensable for the creators.
I hope that our filebase won't make negative news any more from now on!

Why your not happy , that people find your pack interesting enough to publish it.
I would be proud that my works were spread over the internet.
It's well documented and even it refers to our forum, what's a free advertisment.
The only reason i can think off is that you want to make money with your pack, but i don't think that's your goal.
And finaly, ever thought that not everybody speaks english?
Therefor a german site could fill the gap for a lot off Lomo players to enjoy their game.

b.t.w I love your work too. :wink:

The package is still there but your file shouldn't be in it any more.

Edit: actually, the package doesn't work at all at the moment. I get a page not found message. We'll have to check what's wrong there.

Its not much as a problem that they distribute it, but that they did not ask, and they require a registration for download.

Re:Akalamanaia ,
I agree with you that registration before downloading is a bad thing.
Because they aren't the authors.

Hi Larry,

Although Ruud and I have been credited correctly, and I certainly appreciate the initiative to make all vehicles more accessible for downloads, I would ask that you take the NL set off your website and instead just link to its official website.

Both Ruud and I worked long and hard on the set and the website. The least we're owed is that any prospective downloader visits our site.

Regards,
Jeroen
So long and thanks for all the fish.
