Cannot save games

hi
i dloaded the full game of ttd+xppatch from adandonware
the game is said to hv ttd patch
the game works fine but i am not able to save games
a red pop up appears saying" game sace error"
please help me
i am running win xp pro
it really sucks not to be able to save cuz u hv to start a new game everytime
just PM me cuz i might not be online all the time

Could it accidentally be that the folder is marked as "read only"?

Or else I suggest downloading the TTD + Patch windows version from one of the links on the forums (link to list of download locations is in my sig)

I am able to save the games now, thanks for the help. Unfortuantely my old savegames are overwritten when i save again. Please do help me.

Mjuboy is it possible you have around 100 savegames in same directory ?
TTD handle only 100 games (of 1 type) in 1 directory ... try saveing in another dir

i just saved the game once, there are some save games by deafult when i dload it, i ll try deleting them. thanks
