Possible Bug in patch 2.0.1 alpha 42

Post by furdude6 »

Every time certain trains get to some of my brigdes they completly stop for a second or two... i thought they slowed down so they would go speed limit but they completly stop... I also thought that maybe it had to do something with the # of movement tiles. But i dont think thats it.

Can you post a savegame?
I've never seen this behaviour.

Certain trains... Perhaps electric trains that try to take bridges without catenary support?

I've also experienced this, and it has nothing to do with caternaries.
I think it's related to Mek's bridgehead patch, but it's not that easy to observe, because it does not always happen.
It's a sudden stop-then-instant-acceleration on entering a bridgehead.
Trains somehow don't find their way through these bridgeheads in a PBS junction too. It might be that the deceleration only happens in PBS junction too, I haven't experimented enough with it.
If I can, I'll try attaching a savegame, but I'm not sure it wiil show, because it seems to be dependant on a few factors.
