Interesting, the train refuses to move....nothing i did changed the train's mind either...I even tried stopping the train, saving, and the loading, and telling teh train go.

Weird.

I just fell of my chair while laughing out so loud, the neighbours must have heard this....

I didn't try the game myself, but this seems sooo logically to try first hehehehe...

I don't know if I would have noticed it :D

Can I say "lol" now?

I never use the pause option myself but sometimes I click on it accidentally... that's weird... the train won't come out of the depot

hahaha, this sometimes happened to me when i loaded a game (now they've fixed this) but the game would be in pause mode and i wouldn't get why nothing was moving..

what gives it away is the water etc is moving either :P

but hahaa, this is the best post ever!!

Well, sadly this was not a best_post_ever; since the train indeed did not move if 'realistic acceleration' was turned on.

Bug turned out to be a pathfinding bug which also resulted in signals not being updated if a piece of rail was destroyed. tomek thank you VERY MUCH for finding this fatal bug!

[18:14:39]  TrueLight: CIA fake message: revision 1400
[18:14:39]  TrueLight: -Fix: signal stays red if a track is removed (Darkvater / Tron / TrueLight)
as well as the stopped train.

No fuss teeone :) The train moved if 'realistic acceleration' was turned off.

Sorry i didnt mean to insult anyone and if you took it that way i am truly sorry.
Its just that sometimes the solution to a problem is so obvious that noone sees it.

The reason for the BEST_POST_EVER by the way was dating back to something from another stupid thread (which this one has turned out not to be, sorry) so they'd be easy to find on the search engine. ;)

This is perhaps the time to create some service engines that could come and tow the broken engines into the next depot. (This could be a new feature, e.g. with using a random factor for engine damages. This is like real the life while travelling with DB :) )

Until I found out that Ionly have to disable realistic acceleration, I removed this egines by causing a train crash.
Not fair for the engine drivers :-)
