singaporekid is OK at drawing steamers.
Or you could ask DanMacK if you can base off of his US steamers.

Yes, I have those tables:krtaylor wrote:I think it would be good if you made a tracking table of the vehicles you intend to use in your set. All the sets in progress have such a thing. You can use my HTML if you like, I can send it to you. You can see the one for the Japan set here:

It's important to have photos of the trains, since most of the artists aren't from Serbia and have no idea what they'd look like.

I don't know if it's practical to have both narrow-gauge and standard gauge in the same set. You maybe could use the third slot for the narrow gauge.

Yes, you could, but it would need graphics, preferably something noticably different.
Also, do you know about wagon speed limits? Because you don't have any speed limits on wagons ATM. You could look into what speeds freight runs in Serbia. It makes the game very different in my experience.
Good luck with the project!

Nothing to see here
It's probably not practical since the AI will think the 3rd rail system (narrow gauge) is better and you can't have the 3rd rail system both in unelectrified and electrified mode.
But it's more realistic to have narrow gauge too.

You cannot have both normal and electrified normal track, and normal and electrified narrow gauge. You'd have to give up, at least, electrified narrow gauge; that might be an acceptable compromise. But the "AI thinks 3rd system is better" is not a problem anymore, the latest Patches took care of that.Purno wrote:It's probably not practical since the AI will think the 3rd rail system (narrow gauge) is better and you can't have the 3rd rail system both in unelectrified and electrified mode.

But in Serbia there wasn't electrified narrow gauges. We had only steam and diesel locos. (But I don't know were electrified narrow gauges in other countries).krtaylor wrote:You'd have to give up, at least, electrified narrow gauge; that might be an acceptable compromise.
I think that will be good idea too: narrow gauge set in other grf file. (There is no sence to design any narrow gauge vehicle till we don't have track set.) BTW, I drew a hopper. I want opinion about it:krtaylor wrote:I don't know if it's practical to have both narrow-gauge and standard gauge in the same set. You maybe could use the third slot for the narrow gauge.

I like a lot your work, Coyote! I also think it's admirable how you are handling it all yourself.
Your constance is an example for all: you have began from the very beginning; little by little, learning from others and hearing advices. You are organizing very well the development site and the tracking tables too.
I've seen many newbies appear, launch a project, have in a week 1/3 of the graphics and data 100% completed, bite off more than they could chew, and have it abandonded within a few months the longer.
You go slow, but sure; for me that's the best way to do things.
At the moment I am quite busy with the latest touches for the Japan set, which is on the verge of being released. But I think I could help you. At the moment I am going to be busy due to holidays (sounds contradictory, I know)
When I have more spare time, I'll come back and check the progress over here. I'll tell you if I can lend some hand
Good Luck! and happy new year!

If there wasn't any electrified NG, then you could have it in the same set. You'd just draw a replacement set of narrow-gauge tracks to replace the maglev tracks, and use the maglev slot for the NG trains. No problem. The Japan set is doing something similar, using the maglev slot for the Shinkansens.Wile E. Coyote wrote: But in Serbia there wasn't electrified narrow gauges...
