Idee to new patch-trees at lumbermills

Post by CalZone »

It takes a long time to plant new trees at the lumbermill. We would like you to make a function that enables you to mark tiles and plant trees in all of them at the same time. :?:

What exactly is the problem? If you mean you want to plant lots of trees easy to increase your rating at the local authorities, then what does the sawmill has to do with it? If you are talking about planting wood-producing forests that's impossible.

What he means is to be able to plant lots of trees for the lumbermill in the desert climate. If that thing runs out of nearby trees it stops production, and one of the best paying reasourses in the game is lost to us. and if we plant one tree at a time, it takes lots of time. Also doing random trees in the scenario editor doesn't work as well because it doesn't focus on an area, and the desert ends up full of cacti because of all the random trees we had to make!

Does that clear things up?

You have to "fund" a lumber mill (by hand or by using the scenario deitor). It cuts down nearby trees and produces wood - the more trees the more wood. Prob is when it runs out of trees you need to plant more. This is offset by the extreme payment levels you get from wood if its done fast enough ( i took it by SHIP and got 100,000+ each year. Image how much u get from a fast train...

Hope thatr helped ;)

Spiff reads EVERYTHING HERE (much like me) thats why you can usually understand what he says, because he has read the prev posts (some ppl don't)

Then again, i read everything and i sometimes misinterpret...

It's the best way, if you only read the last reply, then you shouldn't visit forums

Indeed. Theres no point being part of a forum if you don't read all the posts in the tread you are replying to.

Well, i don't know about you guys, but i would like to see something that woul make real easy to get rid of the trees.
I just like a ame at the beggining, with a few trees and so, but later on, after 2000, there are so many trees, i can barelly see anything else....

So, what about an easy way to take them down?
