I agree - it looks like you could make one or two models and just slap different skins on, if you were making little 3D versions.

i will draw graphics for you if you send my some sprites of current locos, i don't have Locomotion so i don't know what angles there are to draw, or how high/wide/deep they are. but i can't promiss anything anytime soon as i am heavily involved with the TTD AUSSET. so send me some sprites of small, medium and large steamers and diesels and i'll see what i can do for you.

A lot of the code (maybe all, I'm not sure) for mod stock can be done with Scrat's Vehicle Creator (see sticky at the top of the LoMo Graphics, Mods & Tools forum). He's made coding into a program with a GUI using dropboxes & textboxes. Looks to me like coding is by far the easy part of making mod stock.ttdx_artist wrote:HMMMAkalamanaia wrote:You Sir, would be a guy with big nerves if you would do over 135 sprites for 1 train by hand., well someone's got to do it, i just got LOCO yesterday, so i'm more than willing to try, if someone can send me links to the programs o need to decode graphics etc, i'd be more than willing to draw something, but i don't know about the coding side, i can (almost) code TTD, but i have no idea if Loco is the same, so someone else may have to code graphics for me, is that ok?

Me, I would prefer the trains yes, but not all... what good is an X class rolling down the grassy slopes of England? No, we need good ol' grain silos, small towns, and the occasional city aswell. Just a G, N, and X will do me fine! Maybe a T, but only if you like crossing them. What I mean to say is, golden paddocks, with a big grain network in need of networking, I am in on that.
I could model it, but maybe not until winter 2005, I'll check back then.
